  • you are very gifted. No offense but I think men have a more feeling in their touch. I played a small organ in a small country church in S.C. at age 16. I am now 68 & your songs, all creatures, Praise to god almighty etc & especially when you use the Obo solo sends chills up my spine. when I played I could feel the touch going through my fingers to all over my body- what a blessing!

  • very beautiful. thank you for uploading that video :-)

  • beautiful. my heart resonates with this hymn.

  • I was thinking, as I read the comments, how Christians of many denominations unite in their love of this hymn. What a pity we have not found a way to find concord on so many other issues, so that, in the Lord's words: "that they may be one as I and the Father are one." Thank you sir for posting this video.

  • grace and peace.

one in the body with you.

  • Heavenly song. Played so well by you Lance. Thanks for posting these hymns.

  • very nice, what home organ are you using? is it a hammond organ?

  • Thanks - it is a Viscount, Vivace Model 20 Organ, very small but I can make it pack a punch when I need too :-)

  • This is awesome. Can I request the David Hurd Gloria in Excelsis. It was the first example of Episcopal Sevice Music I had heard when I joined in 1982. It's wonderful. But I don't recall which S-# it is. Seems like he did two different settings for Eucharist.

  • Thanks †

  • We are singing this hymn this Sunday as a processional. It's a very nice hymn!

  • do you know a song called, lord at your first eucarist, it is a lovely song and owuld love to here it

  • Sorry, not in my hymnals by that name, Hymn Tunes are better †

  • UNDE ET MEMORES - that is the hymn tune to Lord, at thy First Eucharist.

  • Thanks so much for sharing. Was so happy to find some beautiful organ music to use during my personal morning worship. I used to love playing these old hymns on the piano many years ago. Thanks again.

  • Your welcome, my HONOR, maybe you should record some of your piano Hymns for us, I know I would enjoy them, GOD Bless You - Lance †

  • Thanks for the encouragement, but haven't practiced in over 20 years. My playing was strictly for my own use, although I did take piano lessons for 4 years as a child, I was no way near the professional level. It was always these old traditional hymns that were my favorite, like the ones you play. Thanks again for sharing.

  • I enjoy all your video's. You have a God given talent. Ruth

  • Thank You - I really enjoy Playing Church Hymns and the GOD given gift is you also for visitng them. Lance †

  • What's the name of the songbook you use?

  • Sorry - no name just a Common Church Hymnal, I have many Church Hymnals and it is in all of them, very well known tune.

  • I like it very much. Is there a book where i can find this hymn as sheetmusic for organ?

  • It's nice to see that many of the hymns I know from Germany are used in America as well.

Do you happen to know whether there is an English version of "Fest soll mein Taufbund immer stehn"?

    Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks - not sure what that Hymn is, sorry ?

  • all your works are a true gift of God. Thank God for the gift of your talents. YOU and your work are in my prayers, God Bless you and keep you

  • Thank You, how kind of you. God Bless You †

  • very good job man......our Parish Catholic Church never use an organ like they used to but I just love the sound of the organ.......

  • Your welcome, nothing better than an Organ for a Church Service †

  • You are really gifted! I was wondering, how long did it take before you started playing this well and how much practicing did it takes? I'm just asking because I went for piano lessons for about a month a year ago, but I stopped. But hearing your wonderful playing has inspired me to continue learning again. So, I want to know how much patience it requires to learn to play well.

  • I was very young, at 13 was the Organist of our Church. I used to practice when ever I could go to the Church after school. Keep practicing, if you have a real passion for Christian music and to Serve the LORD, it will come easily †

  • very good!i love this organ!
