They fucked up the CFF yes, in that they changed my request to an Immediate Suppression (an immediate fire for effect using whatever they have) versus an Adjust Fire, which as you know is only one round. That's it. There were no errors regarding where the rounds were landing.
Subsequently I asked for an adjustment on the Immediate Suppression to engage an additional target without having to begin a new mission.
So, how come the last round landed so far to the right? Im just curious, im a new fister. Was it the attitude you sent up? If i need to clarify more lemme know
DODLIVE.MIL Chairman's Corner 2-16-11 CLICK "REACTIONS" @NoradNorthcom KEEP FIRING! NOBODY DID THE JOB IN THE PAST SO EXTERMINATE ALL THESE ENEMY FREAKS DEAD TO HELL!
@MAKAK47 Indeed. I haven't watched the vid in a while, but I do recall at least one visible VT burst. Bear in mind that while I should know precisely what was fired (and I believe I got 9 total rounds of both HE quick and VT)- my request for fire was altered at the company field TOC, and was submitted as an immediate suppression unbeknownst to me (additionally the Immediate Suppression SOP of the firing battery from C. F. was never confirmed to me.)
@HMSBUNTING That's messed up, the only thing the FDC should be allowed to do (FDO specifically, I know due to experience) is change the method of engagement, not the mission itself, that could get very dangerous.
When I called this Mission, I was simultaneously coordinating Close Air Support, and directing artillery. Initially I requested a 1 round Adjust Fire from our company mortar platoon, however they were unable to set up quickly enough to respond to my call for fire, and passed the mission on to the Camp Fallujah Howitzer Battery.... as an immediate suppression...
@HMSBUNTING I see, so.....its kinda like the TOC fucked it up? Not tryin to place blame down on them, but is that basically what happened?

@MAKAK47 Imagine my surprise when I heard a barrage of rounds being fired in the distance instead of my 1 requested adjustment round.
