@513986916 Yes it burned, once before christ was supposedly alive, in the time of julius caesar, the second and third times by christians 300 years AD. Oh the irony. Josephus the only person who mentions him, that is a little strange don't you think? I mean a messiah performing miracles and only one guy writes about it? That source has been doubted many times, there is even a book refuting him as reliable, but then again christians only read the bible, instead of facts.

NOFX is just one of those bands that's been around forever and won't stop making amazing songs. Sure the sound has changed here and there, but they've always been independent and they've always stayed truly punk. I have a lot of respect for this band. They aren't afraid to say what they mean.

@clouds5 i think you're statement is contradictory because society and politics and inescapably connected and religion is part of society. Furthermore, from what I can gather (I'm from New Zealand, not America) American politics is informed by Christian culture, like politicians are always invoking Jesus, the ID (read: new-earth creationism) movement is given FAR too much air-time, so religion is directly relevant to politics and society.
