@wwwboyinabandcom i got round that by using trance style clap with the snare, rather than find a loop with snares included. not strictly porg house, i knoe, but i just love the snappyness you get with trance samples

Secondly, here's an idea: get Sonar to send you X1 (if you don't have it already), and do a review on THAT. And FL Studio 10, which just came out. And Reaper. And Renoise... Or whatever suits your fancy/scores you cool free stuff!

Hey Dave, what do you think of the samples that came with Kong?

I'm not a huge fan of the presets themselves, but the samples (Factory Sample Bank/Kong Patches/Kong Sounds & Samples) seem pretty solid to me. However, I don't have any decent paid sample packs or Battery to compare to - just a large freeware collection, so you'd be a better judge. I've been using them in Redrum mostly.

Dave, in case you don't already know, if you want to seperate out the different drum sounds to different note lanes (if you want to cut out the kick, for example), select the note lane with the drums and go to the Tool Window and select Extract Notes to Lanes. :)
