one can not say that a stance is too high or too low. If that is the way the style is taught then that's the way it is. After many decades of being a center judge for tournaments as long as it is consistant then that is the way it was taught. This is very much different from the Anaku (Ananku) that I have learned. Ours has front kicks at the beginning after the double punches. Interesting though. One man's interpitation to another.

It's quite different than the ananku created by Chotoku Kyan after his stay in Taiwan.
