Quick question: Why is it that when you're turning left, you're pulling your body to the right? I thought when you moved your body to the right, the hang glider was supposed to go to the right (I know very little about hang gliding).
Hi UVAlaw, It is called highsiding. It helps keep the wing flat in the turn. Are you in cville? you should come down to Blue Sky Flight Park and take a lesson. We are just outside Richmond. We have a few cville pilots that come down to fly every weekend. I am the tandem inst. there.

can handgliders stay up as long as paragliders or longer .just about all the videos i see of handgliders are short ones.

Thanks, that clip is 4 min. of an hr. flight. I had never flown an ocean site before. The air there was unbelievably smooth.
