Nitrogen is non-toxic, odorless, and colorless. It is relatively inert. It is not flammable. NOT FLAMMABLE. what good it makes to my engine it it is not flammable? The just make me buy more gas and make my car less efficient. They were good gasoline but they went bad with this new mix. I get less mileage with this mix than other brands and I use to get better mileage with the old mix
@elliotjr Your right, nitrogen is inert, so when it is burned in gasoline it will not leave a carbon deposit behind like oxygen will making it cleaner for your engine. As a medical gas pipefitter, nitrogen is used to stop unwanted carbon build-up on the inside of copper pipe for medi-gas systems. When it is brazed on the outside, nitrogen will not allow carbon to build on the inside, leaving it perfectly clean It is the exact same concept in every way to the gasoline application.
Shell gas works great for me, I did use additives until I switched to shell, I get about 2 - 4 miles more per gallon on gas, I have a van and I get 22 - 24 on highway, it was 19 - 20, so not bad
Maybe this isn't the most scientific justification but I only buy shell and the only times I've ever had problems with bad gas is when I've bought a tank of something else.
lower quality gas contains a high amount of water in its fuel, the more water in your engine is not good. the less the better. since these lower quality fuels have more water they can charge less. but it is NOT good for your engine or its components.
Thank you for your comment. We apologize if you feel as though this is a blatant ad for Shell, as we can promise you it is not. We are only trying to bring useful information to those who would like to learn more about the automotive industry. We appreciate you watching our videos and hope you'll continue to do so.
@thedriversseat i'm VERY interested in gasolines. shell v-power sounds like the perfect fuel for my camaro z28. my problem is the station here in kings mountain nc, where i've started buying from, has a sticker on the pumps stating that there is 10% ethanol in the fuel. i've read that ethanol doesn't have as many calories of energy as 100% gasoline. this will reduce the gas mileage. can you give me some info on this? thanks.
@bg1379 Actually, I found it quite informative and enlightening to know that there is a superior brand gasoline out there that will make our engines last. And as a subscriber, I did not feel in any way this was an ad. The fact that this youtuber brought up this video, I think, was ingenious of him to provide us with the beast of anything for our vehicles. Thank you thedriverseat for providing us with great stuff ;)

What happens when I put this gas in a high performance two stroke motor let's say a cr500

Oh c'mon people, it is pretty obvious that this is an ad.
Place short ads before or after your videos, don't place complete ads on your channel. That's a pretty bold move-- extremely transparent too.
This is, by far, one of the worst missuses of a YouTube partner channel that I have seen.
And, besides, numerous third party tests have shown how Shell is no better than any other major brand.
I like your original videos, I am appalled that you would throw an ad at us subscribers.

Thanks for the response.

@thedriversseat as of earlier this year it is now illegal to be sponsored and not inform about it, even more when asked...
This definitely felt like an ad, I would like to hear the info from another source... just by that it would mean much more.
