This video is good because you move quickly to different phrases rather than other people who make language videos who drag out videos. People should make language learning videos more like this. Well done.
Hrmm, Would "Araso" mean "Okay" too in korean because I hear it being said a lot in korean dramas! For example, If someone told a person to do this, & the person answered "Araso" meaning "okay", Would that work?
I just say your video today, and it's great. I was in Korea for 1.5 yrs and learned to speak and read/write. But, that was in the mid 60's. Please contact me with what you have to offer. Thank you.
hello thanks for the video. i have a question. what does "waegure" means? i don't know the real spelling. i kept hearing it but don't know what it means. please please answer it k ^^
hi koreansimplyput.. thanks for sharing this vid, hope you'll upload some more korean phrases, i really want to learn korean language..could you share some idea how to translate english phrase to korean?..kamsahamnida ^_^
@johnmichaelburgos Kind of... 싫어 (shiro) would be like, I don't want to do it at all OR I hate you OR No way! The verb, 싫다, literally means to be hated.
@KoreanSimplyPut thanks, anyway , may I ask why is it that you have to add an "a" or "yah" or "ah" sound when calling a persons name such as Jun it becomes Jun'ah somethinglike that ? thanks
@johnmichaelburgos Korean is a language that requires its speakers to put markers/particles at the end of words to tell you what the words are doing in the sentence. 아 is an "vocative" particle that is attached to names to let listeners know that what you're saying is a name (used mainly with greetings or calling a name out)
SuJung! would translate to SuJung Ah! or 수정아!
ya or 야 would be added to names that end in a vowel. Hope that helped!
@johnmichaelburgos hagimal and chaja I don't know... could you write it in hangeul? 혼자 (honja) means "alone" and 널 사랑해 (nol saranghae) means I love you.
@KoreanSimplyPut ahm i would also like to ask what "-ssi" is for. i noticed that "-ssi" is used after a name (like when referring to 2NE1's Dara, we use "Dara-ssi" or when referring to Geum Jan-Di of Boys Over Flowers, we use "Jan Di-ssi"). i also noticed "-i" being used after a name. like when CL of 2NE1 was being referred to, she's called "Chae Rin-i".
wow this is great, I really want to Learn Korean, but other video doesn't have English subtitle or to fast, but you are good, and your pronunciation is quite good, thx for sharing
haha i have to watch this atleast 20 times before i can memorize everything properly...but thanks very much!...its really helpful =D...hopefully before i get a chance to visit korea, i will know how to speak it enough to get by

@Eltha1994 Yes you can ! Mianhaeyo is informal ( younger or same age , like your friend etc . )
while mianhamnida is formal .! ( for people who are older than you or the people you respect )
