  • Anyonoe help ! I just downloaded a 35.9 GB film (whatever) and finishedd downloading and it says SEEDING ... and the file that is in my pc ( THE FILM IN ISO ) isnt working ? My question is that do the file works before the seeding because mine not . i mean do i have to wait till the seeding is completeted ?? ( i have to upload 35.5 GB :| :O o.O )

  • thx dewd for the info, next time fix yer hair, haha jk

  • @moonshinedawg trololol welcome

  • how long does it take to seed?

  • @Hakuri21 Depends on the file size and your internet speed

  • @Kidzrule743 well the size is 18.2GB and my download speed is 9.72 Mbps, upload speed is 2.94 Mbps.

  • @Hakuri21 in all honesty i have NO idea how to calculate the time amount. But I'd say quite a while considering there's 1,024 Mb in a GB...

  • @Hakuri21 when i readed your coment i thot you said how long is your hair

  • do i have to wait for the seeding to play a game, or can i play it straight off the bat? please answer

  • @MrTokyojoe150 you can use it right away. Seeding is optional.

  • @Kidzrule743 ok, im a first time user, so what do i do to open and play the game?

  • @MrTokyojoe150 there should be a .exe file in the folder torrented somewhere.

  • Thanks,Хвала :)

  • Long story short:

When someone uploads a file with utorrent for you to download, it is downloaded onto your computer straight off of theirs. Seeding is like helping it so it can also download off of yours too instead of just downloading off of the hosts. More seeders=faster downloads.

  • @BleachIsFTW precisely, mind if I put that in the description?

  • @Kidzrule743 Sure, why not?

  • he but if you seed is it than not so that your computer is going slow or like turning slow????

  • @30skvk2000 I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but torrenting and seeding does slow down your computer in the time your doing it, once uTorrent is closed or whatever program you use, everything including internet speed should be back to normal.

  • Hairline is pretty fucking kool man.

  • what happens if there are no seeds, how is the person notified????

  • @littlematty7 In what case? The seeder or the downloader?

  • @Kidzrule743 like there is no seeder. then there is no download right?

  • @littlematty7 The file can be torrented as long as there is a host. How do you think the very first seeder gets the file haha.

  • @Kidzrule743 lol, thanks for the help!!

  • @littlematty7 no problem :D

  • yarrrrrrr

  • thanks dude!xD

  • Ahhh thanks, I'll add you on steam :) Maybe skype... Maybe..

  • but how do i play the game without seeding it

  • @fatdogface you just cancel the seeding once it's done downloading.

  • thanks dude

  • 1:23 Seeding Explaining

  • 1:28 Seeding Explained

  • 1:12 seeding Explained

  • i added u on skype. call me when you get the chance. i have some torrent questions.

  • But I chose 'seeding tasks have higher priority than downloading tasks' and 'initial seeding' how is that different than a force check and a seed?

  • @wetlazer Well, seeding tasks have higher priority than downloading tasks means that it's going to seed faster (upload the files you've downloaded) than download faster (torrents currently downloading). And initial seeding means that seeding comes first, basically the same thing, it will always upload faster than downloads. I'm not sure what you mean by a force check and "a" seed, but I hope that helped!

  • @Kidzrule743 Oh, I saw another video, but this one was only music and some guy typing an explanation. Thing was this guy went really fast and did not have screen close-ups.

If you have a downloaded file, on top of the torrent page is the name of the torrent and the size. Right click the file on the pull-down, it has all those choices 'open containing folder, Copy magnet URI. etc.' Toward the bottom it says 'forced re-check' ; supposed to cause seeding according to the other vid.

  • thanks, now i can be a good guy

  • Also when using bittorrent to download pirated music, (I don't endorse this at all) you run the risk of anti piracy organizations snooping into your computer, scanning your bittorrent transactions, finding the illegal music, and then having the RIAA give you a heavy lawsuit, so you should ALWAYS have an anti piracy blocking program enabled when using Bit torrent. PeerBlock is by far the absolute best one available, and it's free, but please, do pay for good music and support the artists.

  • @MasterMorty Well put.

  • Actually, if you don't seed enough for your rate of downloads, you will get a bottleneck, which is essentially when Utorrent (or whatever program you're using) will stop letting you be a leecher (or someone downloading a file.) If you try to download when this happens, you'll get to 95%, and then just stop dead in your tracks with no file.

  • 0:01 ahhhhhhhhhh my chest ahh pulsing of heart grrr feble oww is that how you ev... great video

  • wait so when your down download it, your done? or do you still have to seed

  • @MrBenjamin223 you dont have to seed, but it helps other downloaders.

  • so seeding is not necessary for the downloader

  • @jshfod777 no, but it's a nice thing to do :3

  • had to watch in 240p because i was actually downloading right now

  • I like your hair man. you look cool without trying. keep up the good job!

  • @bigeyestudio Thanks dude!

  • Kidzrule743 i just downloaded a game from pirate bay sent to utorrent and now its seeding that's all it says what do i do next?

  • @kilaniga20 Wait for it to finish.

    BAM!

    Seeding achieved :3

  • @Kidzrule743 But, I'm trying that as well. How long will the seeding process take?

  • what is leechers

  • @Ichimaru666Gin A leecher is a person who downloads files. Leechers got their name because they do nothing else than downloading. Like real leachers are sucking blood from human body, digital leachers are sucking files from the internet. It has a negative side-tone in it, but this is just for food for thought for linguists. If you also upload files and share content what you have downloaded, then you are a peer.

  • @petervantwerp Thanks for commenting that, helped me learn a bit as well!

  • is it about your hair? or seeding?

  • @bassmaster361 well im not sure what more you can do, if there's no host computer for the file to download from then you'll just have to wait untill another host of the file turns their computer on.

  • Hey, I guess I need a bit more detail about it than just bullet points. You should go deeper.

  • @mattedj what more information could you need?

  • @Kidzrule743 umm, well, I'm doing some research and I needed to know what info was in the .torrent file and how the tracker was correlated to that file. I was able to upload a .torrent file to this pretty cool torrenteditor site and get some info about the metadata, I'm also curious about how each torrent client knows where to get the piece of the file it needs. Is what stored on the tracker or is that just randomly picked from and checked from the peers, like take a shot to see if 'peer' has it

  • @mattedj You're fine, I was just looking for some unpacking of the subjects. It's a good intro though.

  • Great Video keep up the good work!

  • These creepy comments sounds like as if they want to fuck you....

  • if there are no seeds what can i do to finnish getting my download ????

  • why are people been so rude he is tryin to help us if it wasnt for helpful people like him us leeches would get no where please show some respect hes doing us a favour

  • sorry m8 my skype cant find you please add me jayjay53961 need help seeding to sites

  • @jayjay5396

Seeding to sites? Not even sure what your talking about. For seeding, you just have to wait.

  • @Kidzrule743 i sometimes download torrents from time to time pirate bay kickass torrents etc using a program called bitcomet but on pirs=ate bay you get people asking others to seed "please seed" i know how to download but i'd like to seed too can you help me seed to to the pirate bay

  • @jayjay5396 well thats what I said, to seed, once the download finishes you just have to wait. It will say the amount of seeds gone by under the word "seeds", but will only start after the download finishes. If your program doesn't have this feature, use uTorrent.

  • @Kidzrule743 ok i'll try utorrent and your video only descibes what seeding is it dont tell you how to do it thanks i will try utorrent so i just download then it will automatically start to seed????

  • @jayjay5396 it should, yes.

  • @Kidzrule743 thank you im now able to seed cheers bud respect

  • you have a very feminine face.

  • seeding is for the downloader rite?

  • @rad0ri its so the holder of the file can distribute it faster, aka, other people take less time to download it.

  • @Kidzrule743 wait rite now it's been seeding for 2 hours now and it keeps going red when it says seeding, also it is very very low (the rate) can you help?

  • @rad0ri well honestly you don't HAVE to seed, you can really just use the file.

  • @rad0ri all it say when i open the file is burn cd

  • seeding takes for ever!

  • how about peers??

  • Well, im downloading this game for an emulator, and its seeding in uTorrent, and its been going on for like an hour, but the download is at 100%. And when i try opening the file from the emulator, it says the file cant be found. Dude...What do i do? XD

  • @Van292

    I have 2 solutions,

    1. The file is downloaded to a different place and you need to put it on your desktop.

    Or

    2. The file is broken, find a new one :P

  • seechers.

  • hey sexy girl

    rofl

  • @wwwaff WHAAAAAAAT? xD

  • @Kidzrule743

sorry dude i sought you were a girl

  • when i try downloading two game on torrent they get past the downloading but keep seeding and seeding and it seem non stop

  • @nailgirllover you have to stop em manually i usually seed untill i have uploaded the full file two times beacause i have a fast connection ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @xkantxbxownedx it was 23 seconds of a 2 minute video, calm your balls.

  • Comment removed

  • @xkantxbxownedx lol. Stupid hater.

  • fat jesus

  • @iTehValkyrie umm......

  • @iTehValkyrie

    your dad

  • can you get caught seeding? what happens when you seed a file that has those copyright stuffs

  • @dhanabandot No idea lol xP

  • @dhanabandot HELL YES TORRENTS ARE TRACEABLE - YOUR ISP CAN SEE WHAT YOUR DOING, Be safe and use rapidshare

  • snitching on me trying to get me in trouble and lose my internet service, which is fucking bullshit because I seeded vast more then I should have past 1.0 ratio!!!

I have few more games downloading, and all seeding to 1.3-1.5 ratio---and if they report me to my (ISP) for fallace bullshit, I am going to be pissed!!! I did my part, and find it kind of two-faced/scoundrel for them to do that to people, and from the comments on Torrentz website, other people have been suffering similar actions.

  • @GermanAmericanBunder Well, from all I know about torrents, you don't HAVE to seed .__.

  • @Kidzrule743

Thanks, well, I did just to be on the safe side up until 1.3-1.5 ratio on the few games that I actually liked, just to do my part and be safe!!! (lol)

  • how long do you have to seed for??? I.e . to what ratio of seeding, before I can click finish and remove the torrent???

on all the websites they say seed to 1.0 ratio before you click finish!!!I just downloaded a couple games such as Mafia II from (TPTB) uploader, because had to wipe my computer and lost everything---and seeded to ratio 1.5 for like 3 days straight, before I clicked finish, and then a few hours ago I got a notice from my Comcast (ISP) for some Copyright bullshit from (TPTB)

  • Thanks mate, helped allot :D

  • basicly u upload little pieces to others so you are seeder

leechers are the people who are downloading those pieces from others and they are seeding too

  • when you seed a file it means you let others download it after your done downloading it so your basicly sending it to other peoples computers...right? thats what i was told by someone else but wasent exactly shure... i never really understood the whole torrent process...all i know is that i almost got a fine for downloading drag me to hell from bit torrent but nothing happened luckly but somehow they caught me so now i dont download movies anymore. i guess it was a certain tracker that caught me

  • @121293g well, that's an example of downloading a torrent for a bad thing because they can contain viruses.
