  • Can anyone tell me the song that starts at 2:43 ?

  • This is really wonderful but to be honest there is no one like sir Ian Mc Kellen as Gandalf ...

  • Is it still true that they're trying for a tour in 2011 as it says on their site? Any idea if a DVD could come out. Ugh, I hate that I couldn't go to the Toronto show nor London. Damn America!

  • inspiring

  • What song from the soundtrack is that at 1:26? Is it a fancy orchestral version of the Epilogue? Or something they didn't include on it?

  • @hxcharrypotterfan123

There are about 40 minutes left off the soundtrack.

  • I think the London cast fit their parts soo much better than the Toronto cast! Especially Michael Rouse as Legolas in the london cast, he is absolutely amazing! Best voice of the whole cast! :D

  • oh my gosh! This looks totally epic! I want to see it!!!!! :D

  • I saw it some years ago and I was amazed! It was wonderful especially golum.

  • I would love to see it. But I prefer Laura Michele Kelly as Galadriel she fits the part more.

  • good orchestra and good background music

  • This needs to come to broadway or pete jackson could turn his movies into a broadway musical

  • Is it still in London? I really want to see how they turned it into a musical

  • wow, was that the crowning of Aragorn? geez how long is the play if they are doing all three books? Not to mention that it is a musical and they are usually around two and a half to three hours..... and that was only one LOTR film...I really wish this would come to the US

  • I think it's about 4 hours. :) I say, the longer the better! Although you gotta feel bad for the people in the balcony seats, craning their heads for that long.

Obviously NOT a good musical to bring the kiddies too. xD

  • I saw this last year, it was absolutely amazing. Loved all of it, especially the final battle.

  • Why the intro is that xena like?

  • can't wait till it tours UK next year! Hope it comes near me!

  • *jaw drops*

  • What the heck was that at 3:12? Was that Sauron?

  • ~.~ I saw the musical in London last spring break and it wasn't as great as this thing makes it out to be. It was good but not AS good.

  • Lord Of The Rings was the best stage show i have ever seen. It was really great

  • ditto! I'm so glad I've been there in London

  • i do feel london had a better design team

  • Type Go Petition into Googe, type Lord of the rings london stage show in the go petition search box and sign the petition to get the show released on dvd. Its so awesome not to be released. Promote this petition everywhere! I want it!!!!

  • Dang English! Why can't it come to america???

  • I think English people are realy cool. And i'm with you elvishjedi, why can't it come to America?

  • not sure what the main reason was, but one of the big reasons was because the set was built specifically for the theatre it was performed in. so if they wanted to go touring or move to a new theatre, they'd have to rebuild everything.

  • Is Fantastic!

  • I wish an orc had popped out at me (though at the time I admit I was terrified that one was going to). My family's hopping to go back to London this summer to see it one more time. What's funny is I'm not much of a LOTR fan and we went for my brother's sake. I left captivated (I'm a theatre nerd) and LOVE this now

  • i was so lucky to watch the play this last december in the royal teather in london....i was ecceptic..but i went out so amuse.... :D was awesome...

  • wats the opening tune called

  • I went to see it, not expecting to like it because to me it just didn't seem like a good concept, LOTR on stage with music!

However, I loved it, it was amazing-i was glad to be proved very wrong!

Though, sitting in an aisle seat n having an orc attack you is really not a pleasant experience... lol

  • The same thing happened to me... I knew it was coming but it still startled me when he launched himself XD

  • You just have to smile at them and they go off disappointed!

When I was there a woman ran off screaming, and they all attacked her-I found my technique was much safer!

  • i am going again next month and am taking my daughter.cant wait to see it again its amazing, and i cant believe its closing early because of bad reviews.you critics have no taste.

  • By far the best thing i have seen on stage so far, fantastic proformance.

  • galadriel looks like an alien sorceress

  • no she doesnt, y is everyone hating Rebecca Jackson Mendoza i finks she is totaly amazing!

  • saw it again yesterday - just as amazing second time! i was attacked by an orc lol didnt think i would actually scream but i did : )

  • I'm going to see it a 2nd time and I can't wait. Everything about this play is breath-taking.

    It's well worth it.

NOTE: Don't sit on the end of the stall rows. You don't need to be scared by those orcs like I did.

  • this looks soooo amazing, cant wait to see it

  • does anyone know were to buy the soundttrack? i cant find it any were online or at any store. i live in the usa in california.

  • try going on Amazon

  • I thought the show was awsome but I didnt expect the changes that were not in Peter Jackson's version I hope that if it come to Braodway they will do exactly s it all says in the book I think the movie is deeper.

  • Well ok..but you cannot pack 1000 pages of book into a 3 hour show...they ha to shorten it..and I think they made it really good...

  • i was in that exacltly a week ago:) it would be 13 mins in by now llooll

  • i'm going backstage saturday night..:D

  • Lucky you was it fun??

  • how can I get the soundtrack..i want it more than anything?

  • try looking on amazon

  • saw it last night...

is brillant and the stage is amazing and so beautiful =D

  • kewl im seeing it next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • worth seeing... you'll love it trust =D

  • You guys are so lucky. Stupid America doesn't/won't have it. *sigh*

  • saw this last august was great

  • i saw this on friday the 28th had gr8 seats in the centre and near the front

  • If they don't bring this to the U.S. I might cry.

  • the problem is that its sooooooooooooooooo expensive to run and make so they'll might finish it in London then ship all the stuff over to the us so you can enjoy it!

  • sry i didnt know it opened in canada.

  • It won't ever play in a Broadway house. Critics would be brutal plus no Broadway theatre is available for a show this size. Gershwin has Wicked and The Hilton has Young Frankenstein.

  • I want to see this so badly ... I get shivers watching these clips and the bits from the end make me cry

  • hahahaha im sooo exited going to see it on fri i have realy good seats 2

  • Is this on broadway or off broadway?

  • It's not on Broadway at all, it's in London's West End.

  • Saw it in Toronto and loved it! I want to see it again so badly.

  • You're so lucky, I wanted to see this so bad! So here I am stuck watching bits of it online. *sigh* Maybe someday, if it ever comes to Broadway... *is hopeful*

  • This looks amazing. I wish I could see it.

  • It was such an amazing musical, I loved ever moment of it

  • Remember when Boromir appeared beside us!?

  • i was there at the time it was soo cool
