The purpose of protest warrior is to expose the blatant hypocrisy of the radical left wing. Why do they choose to defend some of the most oppressive far right forces in the world including Hamas and Baathism (there is a protest warrior video of a woman defending Saddam Hussein). Along with supporting oppressive left regimes such as Chavez. Its contrary to the liberal principles of civil, political and economic rights. It's typically something for conservatives to change the reason for failed actions. First it was the WMD in Iraq, when there where no WMD, they turned it into kinda noble cause liberating the Iraqi people, while its actually all about oil.

The "surge" is a more sophisticated version of whack a mole. Violence is down where deployed, but now violence is occuring in previously peaceful areas of the country. Meanwhile, hundreds of billions of tax dollars are washed down the drain as more American troops and Iraqis die.
