I've done this with a little bit of a twist. instead of wiping off the first card, I lay a 2nd card on it (face to face) and then use a scraper of choice to squeeze out the center. you get two for the price of one and it's really not as messy because it all comes out on the side your pushing to and you can pick it up from there. we also did it in a big shallow tray for 8 1/2 x 11 size fun. put all the left over foam in a bowl and you can use it a few times before tossing. Thanks for sharing -
I was also wondering what would happen if you did NOT remove the shaving cream from the card. The initial pattern was really pretty. Has anyone tried it?
Nope I haven't tried it .. actually I dont think I want to :) way to messy .. I know the shaving cream dissolves over time and doesn't look very pretty IMHO :)
Yes you can use the shaving cream and reinkers mixture over again( I haven't tried it to see how many actual times(sorry ) I would think at least 3 times maybe more .. .. Each design will be alittle different each time you do it
I'm assuming you can use this plate of shaving cream and ink to dip more than one piece of card-stock. Right? About how many do you think you could do before the colors are gone?
I've managed to get 2 good ones out of 1 lot of foam. Although I noticed that if I used dark or vibrant colours I could add another colour on the third go and get a pale/pastel background with a stronger colour pattern in the foreground which looked lovely. It contrasts well if the last colour is spread out with the pop stick in an alternative pattern to the background.
One thing I will say is I used the bone tool and couldn't get the colour off at the end :S
Thats really neat !! I just have to ask, having also watched the baby wipe tutorial, do you have a lot of your inspiration whilst you're in the bathroom ??
i think the regular card stock would absorb the shaving cream, tear the regular cardstock and warp it. The glossy one has that film that acts more like a piece of plastic to which the ink adheres to.
SUPER COOL!! I really dig this technique. Thank you so much for sharing: HUGZ:)

I like using a squeegie that you use to clean windows, to scrape off the shaving cream..it's less messy.
