  • idea: what if you clear it out but not the traffic lights then you put gocarts there

  • The GE 4-way brings back memories for me! There was one that hung at the intersection of West 80th Street and Detroit Avenue in Cleveland for years before I was born in 1960, and was still there in service up until 1990. It had Walk/Wait lenses on the north face (the Red lens was painted over). There actually is still one of these in operation in Cleveland (Google Earth: Harvard Avenue, around the 2800 block).

  • where do you get the 4 way lights.

  • I get some lights from other collectors. I find them on eBay (be careful, some are good while others are ripoffs.) Occasionally cities sell what they have left on sites like Govdeals. One collector followed his wife into a collectibles shop when on vacation and walked away with a 3-bulb Darley for a steal. Watch eBay for a while to get a sense of prices and condition, Also the on-line collectors and signal fanss groups are great places to learn how to restore these lights.

  • Willis, this is a really good video. The collection is amazing, but even better is your informative narration.

  • I do love these videos man! Very sweet collection of traffic lights! You should make your basement a museum! lol
