I love Guanajuato. I used to visit the city since I was a child. Our parents used to take us around Mexico on vacation and we always ended up in Guanajuato. They loved it too.

This video brought back memories. I have always loved this City; I lived in Guanajuato for three years while I was attending preparatory school. When friends ask me what places I recommend in Mexico; I tell them to go get away from the borders and the beaches from time to time. Mexico has so many travel experiences to offer, and Guanajuato is certainly one of the best.

I truly adore Vengerov's interpretation of this piece. He plays it with so much passion and his backing ensemble is brilliant. I love the slide. The slideshow's quite nice, but it would have been great to get a video of the performance. Such beauty. The classiest rendition in existence - better than Heifetz, Perlman, Bell *laughs*... just fantastic.
