Hi icecreamforcrowhurst, you're quite right, it's not London. Jacktoneriordan was kind enough to get back to me & let me know that Pearls was in San Francisco. I guess the taxis in San Fran look similar to NY taxis. :-)
Unfortunately, Pearl's is gone as of 7/31/08. It was the last real jazz club left for us local SF musicians. Hopefully, someone can take over and re-open, but we'll see.
I saw Wil play either in June or July with a saxophonist (I can't remember his name for the life of me!) at Pearls and it was INCREDIBLE. Wil definitely is amazing!

I'm pretty sure this is not London. At 5:32 isn't that a NY taxi cab (with a TV advertising screens on the roof) that drives past?
