I hope there is life after death even if i'm just a ghost but i'm not expecting anything. And theres no point to fearing death because you won't know your dead if there is no afterlife.
Heaven is just there for us so that when we are old we are not afraid of dying because we think there is something to look forward to but if we open our eyes we realize how short and sweet our life and in order for something to live it has to die theres is NO way out of it.

Love does get cut off at death. It is the truth, only the memory of that love survives, and the deceased one is non-knowing of anything whatsoever. Eternal life is simply something i cannot explain to you, but i can say the concept of the accual eternal life is quite simple, however it is so simple most people would not understand it. there is no heaven, there is no hell, they are only metephors of making the wrong decisions. im sorry. thats just how it is.

If you are religious or christian or whatever, just read the bible, JESUS even tells you that when a man dies he "ceases to praise the lord" he even goes on to say "The man will be dead, and when his sons visit his grave he will know nothing of it" EVEN JESUS SAID WHEN YOU DIE u just die, and decompose. "Whither thou goest, for man is immortal."

I saw sparks in my head and felt a LOT of shallow impulses into my head and body. then everything spiralled down into a black center and equalled nothing. Next thing i knew i was being electrocuted back into life. it was like 'wrestless leg syndrome' but bringing me alive again. and i had a very clear picture of death, it was simply put, for me, an end to thought and feeling period. you just die.
But consciousness is a by product of the functioning of the brain. It doesn't raise the questions you posed, but more rational questions such as are we conscious at all. You seem like a bright guy cought in fantasy. The harsh realtity is that we are biological machines with a finite life and nothing after aside from our children. This astral travel is simply your imagination.
