@djthanosj ...I recently finished GOWIII and thought about doing something similar. Putting together a flawless zeus battle. But it just takes so much time and he's a bit more difficult in my opinion in the third one. But perhaps someday.

You're only half right. Yes Kratos did travel back in time at the end of GOWII. However, it was only for about a minute, just long enough to gather Gaia and the rest of the titans. He then traveled back to the present alongside the titans to go after Zeus at his weakest point. So Athena is still dead because GOWIII takes place in the present.

Awesome gameplay, but one question. How can Kratos leave his blades in Zeus's hands and walk away if their always chained to his arms??? Is there something i missed?

Kratos never leaves his blades in Zeus' hands.  The blades are always on his back when he's not using them then he uses them to pin Zeus to the rock. Perhaps the chains are still embedded within him. I don't know. Maybe there's something I missed too.

Since these are the Blades of Athena and not the original blades ( blades of chaos) so i dont think they are chained to him

@ touchmywookie77...I owe you an apology. You were absolutely correct in seeing that Kratos' blades were not attached to him when he stabbs Zeus in each hand. Looks like a very very bad glitch on the creation side of the game. How they could mess up during the rendering part of this game is beyond belief. Thanks for pointing that out. I was wrong to try and justify my argument. The game was just so awesome from start to finish that I didn't wanna believe that it could be flawed.

@theloyl1 Kratos loses his Blades of Chaos in the battle with Ares, he is given the Blades of Athena by their namesake along with his godhood. These are the weapons he used throughout GOW II, and they are not burnt into the flesh.
