Too be honest, I'm a recent fan of Buffy, so most of it is still new to me. I have been spoiling myself by watching clips from later seasons, but I can't help it. I feel that I missed out on a phenominal experience.

True Blood is interesting, and has a really great southern spin on the mythology. I'm glad its continuing the quirkiness of Buffy in some ways, but I don't really like how sexual it can get. Buffy was so great..made me so happy, but I'm also glad its over.Too much of a good thing would make us not like it. Thank you Joss Whedon for giving me some great memories.

Yes we all miss it but bringing back the show now would be illogical on so many levels. One the actors are way older now. And some of them are busy with other jobs like Alyson Hannigan on How I Met Your Mother and Anthony Stuart Head on Merlin. Also, there's almost an entire season's worth of comics and it would completely fuck up the continuity. Plus, I think it ended in a good place and I think they covered everything. There's not much more they could really do with the show.

Angel was a completely different show. Different feel, different setting, different interactions between the characters... I mean, even characters that carried over from Buffy changed fundamentally. And while character growth in Buffy always felt organic, character growth in Angel seemed very forced.

With that said, I enjoyed pre-doyle's-death angel and I enjoyed more or less the entire final season. I'm not knocking it, just explaining how one might enjoy Buffy and enjoy Angel not-so-much.

I really don't get the whole "never could get into Angel" thing. Yeah, I know, different show and different opinions, but it takes place in the Buffyverse and events in Angel directly influence events in Buffy (Faith, Spike's amulet, etc.), so I just...don't get it. They're like the same exact show. Okay, different atmospheres and themes, but it stars three characters *FROM* Buffy! I personally feel like you can't fully experience Buffy 100% without watching Angel.
