Had not heard the original before this.Went back and listened to it and it was also great. It's two different versions but both are fantastic songs. George Michael ain't exactly my cup of tea but that's a pretty good tune he's got there.

At one point the music was reminding me of a carnival ride...peculiar...and it is hard to cover anything George Michael did first, especially when George was in his prime, but I liked it.

@xcarmox I think he explains it pretty well in his response to The Onion...when you strip all of the melodrama of the 80s away from the song, it's still good, and open to a wider audience, in my opinion.
