I wouldn't worry too much about the battery getting thrown away. When you return, be happy if it is still there, along with the trail camera. There are thieves EVERYWHERE!!

Temperature has bee -15 - -20 Celsius and camera is working ok.

I have a Stealth Cam trail camera and it takes great pic's but it came with a strap attatched to the back of the camera and i just wrap it arround the tree the put it through the lope and tighten it, it works good!!!

Mine came with bungee cords for an attachment method. I agree its not good to constantly be putting holes in trees.

that trail cam seems to be a little hight. you should only put it about thigh-waist high.

i live in the middle of noware in pa lots of camps here & 1 of them used a cam. like this to catch a guy robing his camp ! cops use them to catch pot farmers but 1 guy i know found 3 of them at a pot patch (left the pot took the cameras pissed the cops off !)as he told the pot farmer and he got the weeds note: cops here use the cheap ones cant tell a deer from a elk real blurry so if it was me i would get a good 1

Some one is going to get another pix of a Bigfoot with these cams. Those cams are nice they get wonder pix of surrounding wildlife scientists are using these to catalogue the wildlife in remote regions without having to camp out for months. Great way to catch Jody if there is one ;or get pix of the kids hanging with your kids. My street is one of those dead end streets change the card daily see who is poking around catch a mailbox crook/drug addict sniffing around casing the neighborhood.

Wal mart, Cabelas, Bass pro,target,academy, range in price just like regular cams little as $30 to as high as $300 it is all based on what you want the cam to do some take a flash others have night vision infrared you name it you need it they are going to build it to collect your donation. You can shop online for them cabelas had the least expensive 2 for $70 at one time but I bet video quality was minimal
