  • woooooooooow so beautiful of what year is this song, really old right?

  • @WhatTheHell1296 song was released in 1998, so u can kinda say that

  • @rockkiller124 haha yeah

  • @WhatTheHell1296 I'm also wondering how old this song really is, i've got the feelin' it belongs to the 70's. But i might be wrong, sounds very familiar though.

  • @Martin280967 yea but it is released in 1998, maybe that's why it reminds me of my younger days. ;p

  • @WhatTheHell1296 I uploaded the version which i mean, check it out.

  • I listened this music on erotic videos...super experience...

  • I used to setup my alarm clock with this, but i stopped.

Getting to late at work and such...

  • @tuggiewuggie why not google the lyrics as many have, as I did. Rocket Science.

  • @tuggiewuggie " I'm away"

  • @tuggiewuggie i know what you mean, its sounds like shes saying " i will wait" but shes not really singing words, all lyrics are shown here, as mijaco90 already said there are not more lyrics

  • @tuggiewuggie

I know what you're getting at ~ well spotted. Could be that you're right, but I've always heard it as Beth Hirsch just doing one of her gorgeous trills.

  • my all time favorite song EVER

  • the bomb jam ;)

  • 2:37-2:43 = Singer-FAIL FAIL FAIL, way to not take in enough "air".

  • Yes the Mike Mills video doesn't capture the mood of this beautiful music, it intrudes upon it.. A video should entertain, demonstrate artistic, engaging creativity. Mills exposes us to the droning of a pair of teenagers in a state of infatuation due to high levels of emerging hormones and neurotransmitters - doped out on dopamines - nothing new or sacred. The girl saying that "Moark is great" because of what he does for her shows her selfish immaturity, this is not love, it's adolescence.

  • @EvolutionXEvolving

While I do think Mills' video is pretty dull...I find it hilarious that you speak exclusively of adolescent love being brought on by a surge of chemicals. Everything humans do is brought on by some surge of chemicals.Perhaps in adulthood, we get more control of how we respond to these surges, but I hardly see that as something "new or sacred".

  • @ANDROID, I find it hilarious, that you misunderstood the import of my comment. I'd had an ongoing dialogue with one "poparamone" on the site of the "Official EMI posting of this song". That version involves a constant, droning interruption of this beautiful piece by US suburban teens and I criticized it for that reason. He took me to task for failing to appreciate the beauty of young love. Hence my comment ADDRESSED TO HIM that the Mills production didn't offer anything new or sacred.See Pt 2

  • @greenbrae7 Ah, excuse me then.

  • @AnDroid, Part2. I didn't use the word "surge". I said "A video should entertain, demonstrate artistic, engaging creativity. Mills exposes us to the droning of a pair of teenagers in a state of infatuation due to HIGH LEVELS of EMERGING hormones and neurotransmitters - doped out on dopamines - nothing new or sacred" Your statement that everything humans do is brought on by some SURGE of CHEMICALS is absurd. As we age hormone and neuro transmitter levels decline.... continued in Pt 3.

  • @AnaDroid. Your proposition that perhaps in adulthood we get more control over how we respond to these surges is worthy of discussion. As someone who holds distinctions in clinical and developmental psychology, I've observed that a decline in testosterone & neurotransmitters is accompannied by less impulsive behaviour. Perhaps some older people who have highly impulsive behaviour haven't learned to control themselves because their testosterone & neurotransmitter levels are too high to manage.

  • @AnDroid. Pt3 Your proposition that perhaps in adulthood we get more control over how we respond to these surges is worthy of discussion. As someone who holds distinctions in clinical & developmental psychology, I've observed that a decline in testosterone & neurotransmitters is accompannied by less impulsive behaviour. Perhaps some older people who have highly impulsive behaviour haven't learned to control themselves because their testosterone & neurotransmitter levels are too high to manage.

  • @greenbrae7 & Andriod - Shhhh. Just enjoy the music...

  • @AnaDroid... Pt.4 In Australia we have an expression.... "Young and dumb and full of cum."

I think that about covers adolescent impulsiveness.

    Regards Alias EvoX

  • This is a better "All I Need" video than the banal video where a girl and guy express doomed hormonal adolescent love for each other, talking over the sound track - but it can't compensate for the loss of Monchavo's brilliant ethereal, timeless, partial time lapse video of indoor life followed by beautiful outdoor scenes of cloudy skies and wind carressed trees - blocked by EMI.

THUMBS UP IF YOU HATE EMI FOR BLOCKING MONCHAVO'S MASTERPIECE VIDEO. Come on, let's tell EMI what we think of them.

  • @greenbrae7

it was fantastic why the hell hasn't it been reposted under another name, I am sorry I didn't download it myself and repost it

  • @greenbrae7 yep, i feel that way too - the video was truly a masterpiece

  • @greenbrae7 Ya mean the one with the eagle flyin' skyhigh and the girl in the fields? Luckly i've got the vid then.

  • @Martin280967 Your not lucky then. As mentioned, it's the one which incorporates some scenes with time-lapse sequences - capisce ? - increasing apparent speed of motion. Near the beginning, there are several adjacent clocks on a wall, there are unwashed dishes in a sink in an apartment. A young guy tunes his guitar.... Try your luck, try your luck, try your luck. Ya didn't get tha wun I meeen.

  • @greenbrae7 Check out my uploaded vid of this song.

  • @greenbrae7 I totally agree with you, combined with the video you mentioned this song has so much importance for me , represents a very important period of my life... That video must be unblocked

  • @greenbrae7

Thank god you said that!! That video is hideous!

  • @greenbrae7 this video hasn't his the magic million or 5 hits yet, when it does, no doubt they'll swoop then.....such a shame

  • @MegaNealo, It's all over, already! EMI have struck again! Now they've blocked all "unofficial videos" of this song including this one and Monchavo's brilliant creative masterpiece. We only have the droning "official" version with its interruptions from mindless, mass-produced examples of suburban adolescent mentality. PLEASE LET EMI KNOW HOW MUCH WE RESENT THEIR ACTIONS. I DON'T THINK MOST OF US MIND PAYING TWO DOLLARS TO DOWNLOAD THE SONG, SO WHY CENSOR MONCHAVO'S CREATIVE GENIUS AND OTHERS?

  • @greenbrae7 it does seem peculiar that they pick on some and not all (maybe they just haven't got to them yet) ultimately watching THEIR video gets them advertising hits if nothing else, but all Air videos will usually have links to itunes to buy etc. I already have the track on audio CD I bought ages ago. It's not the most monstrous act of a big music corp. Just sad to see their not quite in touch with their customer base.

  • @MegaNealo Yes, when the EMI Hawks spot unofficial versions they swoop & block them. They've just now done a multi swoop. Put simply, the "official" version suffers from verbal interruptions, hence clearly, EMI sees it as an ideal method of marketing the uninterrupted song via it's marketing network which includes itunes. To EMI all uninterrupted (unofficial) versions potentially contribute to lost sales. So Monchavo's version is lost to us. I wish I'd known how to embed, before it was blocked.

  • @greenbrae7 checkout v=InUuWO0v6wM good parody :-)

  • @MegaNealo Yeah ... saw it last year .. the only consolation is that IT REINFORCES THE ABSURDITY OF MILLS' MISH-MASH TRASH.
