Wow, very good. Scary to do with a glow engine. I mean batteries tell you how far you can go, so does fuel capacity, but glow engines do not tell you if it wants to stall 21km away, that would be one hell of a glide back home, lol, Nice video.

Im curious to know how you got 21Km out of a 1W 2.4Ghz video transmitter. Im certain the Scherrer UHF system is capable, but the video is another story. What type of antennas did you use on the video tx, and rx?

What was it that made you able to go this far? How is it possible to get the reviever picking up at this range? (sorry im a newbie at this completely). I dont even have an RC Plane. (yet)

Very impressive! I like the on-screen telemetry. What portion of the flight was autonomous, and did you recover the airplane?

@adreamluvr Only the turn at 21 Km. was made by the autopilot (ardupilot). And yes, the plane was recovered safely. The entrie video on vimeo: 10675811
