Yes, both guys and girls must wear uniforms to school daily. It's an interesting change from America. :p I'll soon post a video with me in uniform, I have about 4 more videos in iMovie, but not exported yet, so maybe it's in those somewhere. =]
It's nice to see how they'd drive dozens of miles just to go to a park and play frizbee...

When they're saying 'atsui' are they meaning hot in temperature, or hot in spicy? I'm a bit confused.

"Atsui" is referring to the temperature. To say a type of food is spicy, you'd use "karai".
