  • @JethroLye - You obviously are NOT MAORI, if you were you would realise the significance of this HAKA, Originated and performed only for Ngapuhi, the style of haka was performed generations ago and have been able to come through the mana of these young men. Why this haka was performed with such heart was that these young men took out that tournament, had many named in kiwi side and the young man in the front with the blue and white jacket was named Stacey Jones player of the tournament.......

  • @erroshay .The young man in blue and white was also named captain of Kiwi U15, You may hear another haka in the background, that haka is being performed by Waikato and Taranaki teams showing respect and congradulations to that young man and his team. How do I know this??? I was at that time the Chairperson of the Northland Junior Rugby League and that young man in blue and whites mother. So JethroLye, these are what you call real maori boys leading the way for strong maori male leaders.

  • There not fagets oi there solid. Not all maoris know the haka ohh they all know kamate but yea it just depends in northland your pretty much bought up around tikanga maori so you learn it yea at home at school at the rugby clubs at the marae lol any where really

  • hey there, not all maori boys get brought up that way..evcry maori that i jknow know our national haka ka mate...the thing is there are heaps of haka's..from your scholl,where you are from in new zealand, your whanau haka..so the haka and waiata are endless..at the end of the day its the wairua(spirit) behind it..its a mean as feeling when doin it..thats why we do it....proud to be Maori!!!
