  • I've got a 1976 Small Stone like this one, that I actually bought myself. Great tone, but it has a huge volumedrop. Back then I can't remember I ever noticed it, but I hadn't used it for over twenty years, Recently I put it back in my pedalboard, but I can hardly use it because of that volumedrop. Too bad, because the sound is still better than every EH re-issue there is

  • My Dad had this pedal just laying around... and gave it to me. He has two actually. I'm trying to be modest! D:

  • @GameM4ster I wish I found one laying around, let alone too! Nice find!

  • I just bought this 76 model thanks in part to your video here. The current Small Stone reissues capture the 80s model very well. That said, the 80s model is missing the magical warm deep watery swirl of the v1 and v2 models.

  • @dexfx69 Thats good to hear- pretty much why I started doing these videos. How are you finding it?

  • such a different tone from the 1980 and up models.

  • @dexfx69 It's almost unreconisable. When I get some time I'll do a comparison with this, a modern Small Stone and phase 90.

  • I found on these in my garage! I still don't know how I got it but I am waiting for it to get repaired so I can add it on my pedal board, Very cool effect and definitely different than the subsequent models/reissues. Thanks fro the demo.

  • @luvdablz i sure wish i would find one in my garage!
