lonlonjp, i need to ask one thing, i'm having problem tabbing with my 3rd and 4th finger. it's my first time tabbing more than 2 finger. i wanted to ask is tabbing with finger nail is better than finger? or it's just depends on style?

Hi! again. i underatand that your question is Which is better "with nail" or "without nail" on right hand? Am i right? =D

i often pick the strings by finger and nail at the same time. But it is hard to keep your natural nail in a good condition. So i recommend you to use very short nail at least at first, then gradually find your favorite lengh. When i played JS Bach Fuga on my classical guitar so many years ago, my nail was very short. Nowadays a bit longer and lazy XD.

thanks alot for the tips, i really appreciated, but i kinda rush and cut my nail, and kinda having problem playing with just finger, because some string tab by finger and nail, sounds are abit different. but still, i think it's good for my training since it's need correct finger tabbing to sound right and right ammount of power to tab. please tell me if my idea is kinda went the wrong way. LOL

but still, thanks alot, i'll train hard each day 5 hours playing the Laputa castle tabs from leonbloy.

A friend of mine from Tokyo, son of Sony Exec Tetsuo Hasegawa, Koji Hasegawa, played this for me on my piano back when he was here in America as an exchange student. We became friends right away and he taught me the Hiragana and a few thing in Kanji. Made me want to learn japanese more fluently. Thanks for bringing this memory back to me.
