  • I may just be used to my choir's sound, but during the song, the second soprano's sounded a little bit off? Maybe a little sharp?

    Wonderful performance, though! :)

  • the 'hmm' at 2:00 sounds really weird together

  • no entiendo :/

  • I completely agree that without the men it doesn't feel as full. The low tone required for this song is essential. We did this song 6 years ago in All Virginia and the men were the most vital part of the piece.

  • I have to disagree. It might just be that I come from an award-winning women's ensemble, but my all-female choir is singing this song and we sound perfectly fine without the guys. Then again...our alto section is manly enough. But that's just my opinion.

  • Yeah i'm guessing if you have the manly enough altos (we had a few) that can pull it off then go for it. I wasn't dissing any choir that didn't have the guys. With the right group and the right instructor anything's possible.

  • @Niffles84 i went to all virginia this year!just saying=) lol

  • Sorry but I beg to differ...

Though maybe guys may have not-so-good pulse and rhythm, but without guys, there seems to a missing element in the song...

The harmony would sound much better if it's mixed!!

But i like this version too!! well done!! =)

  • this was great! my chorus did this song last year but it was a mixed men and women group. i like it better this way... our guys had no rhythm XP
