  • Wow, I am speechless!

  • Do you leave the plastic on that high tunnel all year with the snow loads you get in the winter?

  • @jrfromid This is my first year, and I am trying to work that out now. I haven't taken the plastic off yet, and it is the middle of November.

We have had a good 2 ' wet snow dump last week, I just made sure that it didn't accumulate.

I could tell that the ribs were under stress. So I spent a couple of hours pushing up from underneath with a broom on a long stick.

  • Realy!! You are so right! We are saying the same "wondering what the rich folks are eating". I love fava beans, moose meat, salmon, mussles, clams, rasberries, blueberries and many more goodies in Alaska!

  • Ron, I love the little easter basket, it looks good on you :-O This green house you have is great. When I get to Alaska I hope to do something like what you've done. You inspire me.I'm hoping to be there in 2011 March/May. Thank you for your vids

    Kurt.

  • so inspiring...love and peace

  • That looks like a pretty professional set up you have there - and looks very impressive. Seems that you really have the space in Alaska despite some of the other disadvantages. Good luck and good eating...

  • So you're out east of Homer?

  • that was cool....will that plastic hold up to heavy snows?

  • Doing a great job brother! Thanks for sending my the vid.

  • Great stuff!
