  • Um, what about the girl?

"Nobody Gonna Take My Girl, I'm Gonna Keep Her To The End

Nobody Gonna Have My Girl, She Stays Close On Every Bend

Oooh She's A Killer Machine, She's Got Everything

Like A Moving Mouth, Body Control And Everything

I Love Her And I Need Her, I See Her

    Yeah She Turns Me On

    All Right Hold Tight

    I'm A Highway Star

  • How many Bible believers here have really stopped to ask themselves what kind of father kills his only son to "win over' his enemies.

From Abraham to the crucifixion. . .it's sadistic insanity!

  • @bramachari God the Father did! God gave His only son, Who was perfect (unlike any of us), and sacraficed Him because He loves us that much. Before Christ, we were all damned to go to hell. Do you not believe in the soilders who sacrafice their lives everyday for our freedom? Think about it.

  • @TheGlynyrd Soldiers "fight" for love of country and a paycheck. They do not kill each other to win over the enemy. . .THEY KILL THE ENEMY.

As a Christian I read over that story many times, accepting it as something that happened in that spiritually murky "hard-hearted" time before Jesus came. But eventually, I faced the truth: Hearing and acting on voices in your head telling you to brutally kill you only son is not any kind of love. It is sadistic insanity.

  • @bramachari what is so sadistic about someone sacraficing their life for others? People did it in the WTC and do it all the time in war. I guess what you call sadistic, I call a blessing. Would you give up your perfect child to save the lives of all your other children?

  • @TheGlynyrd Get your facts straight; think and speak accordingly, please.

A man choosing to lay down his own life for his friends is noble and righteous.

There is NOTHING about that that compares in any way to:

    1. absolving guilt by killing an innocent against their will

    2. A god who says "prove you love ME, slaughter your son [Issac] and burn his guts on an altar

    3. A man [Abraham?] hearing and obeying voices telling him to kill his only son for NO REASON.

  • @bramachari If you are going to quote the Bible, make sure you tell the whole story please: First of all, God sent an angel and stopped Abraham from sacraficing Isaac and sacraficed a ram instead. It was a test of faith.

Alot of people lose their faith when something tramadic happens in their life. But on the other hand, alot of people receive faith when something tramatic happens as well.

Let me guess, you must believe in evolution right?

  • @TheGlynyrd I know it was a test of Abraham's faith, a sadistic one. The God of the Old Testament really had the temperament of a Crack Addict.

Please don't go to work on me emotionally or psychologically.

If you are really happy with your Christian faith, stick with it.

  • @TheGlynyrd I "accepted Christ" in 1979 and went on to study the Bible and pray accordingly and I am a 1991 graduate of BIOLA University with the equivalent of a minor in Bible.

I had my "honeymoon" period with The Lord. Doubts started creeping in after about the first 3 years. When 10 years had passed I was a basket case of neuroses. Over the 5 years that followed, I gradually forced myself to honestly look at what I'd been taught in the light of day and it fell apart.

  • @bramachari believe me, I am no saint whatsoever. I guess its just hard for me to understand how someone can just fall from faith. Especially since the whole thing was documented in the bible. I'm just going to be on the winning side when everything comes to an end.

  • @TheGlynyrd you are "going to be on the winning side. . .[in] the end?" and 5 billion others can burn in hell and you won't give it a thought 'cause you'll be eternal buddies with Jesus?

May you wake up before you're too old to see the narcissism of that.

  • @bramachari what is so narcistic or sadistic about having faith in something you believe in? see thats the difference between you and I. I wish those 5 billion people would recieve Jesus and we'd all be together in Heaven.

  • @TheGlynyrd Oh, nothing, kiddo. You're fine right where you are.

  • @bramachari go watch the interview Micheal Sweet did with Eric Blair. Explains the whole album

  • he who is free from sin should cast the first stone se ya in hell!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrArpas123 Many of the players from the bands they covered have made a commitment to Jesus Christ. Also they cut out a lone from Set Me Free that they considered to be offensive to Christians. If you really want to help people, then help them. Stryper is trying to reach out to a certain crowd and you just don't know how to accept that. Their concerts are even based on coming closer to Christ. Don't bother replying because I don't want to get into a dumb comment war.

  • Stryper does a great job on these covers but that drum sounds like crap.

  • @MrArpas123 Th3AncientMariner is right, your comments are only going to drive people away from Christianity. If you were a non-believer and you recently got into a band that promotes Christianity, then some youtube troll decides to come and tell people that it is satanic, then you would feel that everything involving

Christianity is questionable. Stryper is trying to reach to people who only listen to secular music.

  • Wow, this album is actually good, not that i'd buy it, still murders anything they did prior. They can cover bands really well.

  • I'm listening to this track as I am in a covers band and I'm intrigued about other bands take on this classic song. Could I give a rats ass that Stryper are religious? No. To all the people quoting the bible, realise this book was written 2000 years ago, these passages may have been relevant then but are not now. Take what you feel is relevant from this book but do not presume that I am interested as I am not. I am here for music not religious debate, take your preaching elsewhere please...

  • SOIS UNOS PESADOS METEROS A MONJES NI OS GUSTA EL ROCK NI EL HEAVY NI NA IROS A LA IGLESIA A REZAR QUE ES LO VUESTRO ME ABURRIS CON VUESTROS COMENTARIOS BEATOS MAS QUE BEATOS

  • NI A USTEDES LES GUSTA EL ROCK NI EL HEAVY SOIS UNOS CHARLATANES METEROS A MONJES JODER TANTO DIOS DISFRUTAD DE LA MUSICA O IROS A LA IGLESIA PESAOS QUE SOIS UNOS PESAOS ME ABURRIS CO VUESTROS COMENTARIOS

  • Paul, 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 Refers to marriage you moron. I just love how Christians love to take every opportunity IN LIFE to point fingers so they can put themselves above other people and make themselves somehow better than the next guy. Thats called MENTAL ILLNESS.

  • @capitalcrime I agree.

  • @MrArpas123 I have read the Bible, AND contemplated it, not just regurgitated it. and i got the distinct impression Jesus liked being with those he could teach (sinners) instead of those who thought themselves as to righteous ( Jews at the time, not many Christians back then). Turns out he was right since the ones who thought they knew everything, were the ones who had him judged, and crucified. Learn from this.

  • @MrArpas123 You again. Goddamn don't you have a fuckin' life. TROLL!

Go away already. WTF, Your stupid comments on every Stryper video? Don't you have anything better to do with your time than drive people away from Christianity with your butt-blind ramblings.

  • dont trip...

  • Who cares about what these guys believe in or dont believe ????? you either like what they play or you dont but their Christian thing was (is) just a gimmick to sell records (cd's) and make money. if they try to follow what the Bible say's well good for them, who really cares ?????? I dont.

  • @sataniswithu it wasn't a gimmick! they are real christians

  • @MrArpas123 fuck off god boy. we can all have our own opinion. we can all chose to play what we wanna play. we can all choses to listen to what we wanna listen to. no one is gonna read your comment and have a life changing epitomy based on your little quotations. im not that religious but do i come on here slagging god and forcing my beliefs down your throat? no, but hey, why am i arguing with you, brainwashed fools like you never change their mind for anything or anyone.

  • @MrArpas123 Great story. I guess you should never talk to anyone who is unsaved. So go tell all your non-Christian friends that biblical reference, and never talk to them again. Are you trying to prove something with this comment? Because you're making yourself look like a douche bag. I guess missionaries shouldn't spread the gospel with unbelievers, because it would be unequally yoked. Go back to making your 'Jesus videos' that no one will ever watch.

  • @Th3AncientMariner yes Jesus did sit at the table with sinners because he came to save the lost~ I belive he is telling us to be careful and guard our hearts and be levelheaded. We still must live with the sinners we are to be a light to them and help them not shun them.

  • @crc673 I agree. I'm not saying you're supposed to avoid all sinners. Religious fanatics like him mis-interpret that verse. The band members of Stryper didn't all of a sudden become any less religious, because they made a secular record.

  • I have no idea why someone would buy this album. In the age of downloading...if you likes these tunes just download them by Deep Purple, or Maiden or whatever. This is a killer tune - when Deep Purple sings it!

  • @thechucker44 Well, I Do like The Deep Purple original, don't get me wrong. But i also think this cover is 1,000 times better. But oh well, it's your opinion dude & you're welcome to it. Rock N Roll!!!

  • @StryperTHWTD10241986 Stryper doing Deep Purple is better than Deep Purple doing Deep Purple? I think "my opinion" would be shared by a lot more people than yours.

  • @thechucker44 Dude, i am NOT!!! gonna argue about it. Who cares about popular opinion anyway. What do you base your music interest on popular opinion! I like what i like. If others do too, that's great! If not, oh well. Deep Purple are Rock Legends, no one would deny that. But i just think this version is better. I never said i didn't like DP.

  • @StryperTHWTD10241986 ummmm....ok. That's cool you like the album. Just cause I dont understand how someone would buy the album...doesnt mean people dont love it.

  • @thechucker44 What? Ok maybe i misunderstood what you meant. Sorry.

  • WOW! These Chistian Rockers gave "God moves in mysterious ways" a whole meaning, & new direction, & Stryper here really kicked total ass covering this Deep Purple classic. This is an awesome cover here. There are times when you just have to break the rules.

  • é de dar arrepios!!!

    kkk...

    muito bom!

    só não gostei da capa...

  • This album is one of the best cover album that i've evr heard and i been heard a lots of them Great Album +1000 stryper do it again :D
