I was speaking with a buddy of mine who piloted a black hawk for the Army and I remember him saying its 20/20 without glasses. But he could be wrong and I could have heard wrong as well so dont quote me on that! Firing to many weapons systems without my ear pro can damage your hearing.

Don't know, we didn't do BDA's. One of the tactics the enemy used there was to use a small force to lure us into an area, then ambush with a larger force or IED's. Our leadership didn't want to risk troops just to count bodies..air support would clean up the crumbs.

Do you need 20/20 vision to operate an Abrams/Apache? Or do people with glasses also have that opportunity?

Don't know about vision requirements for Apache's but there's none for Abrams, I wear contacts and have several tanker brothers who wear glasses.
