The woofer max is 850W but im going to split an 1400W power boss plant (4 channel). 2 channels for speakers and teh other 2 for the woofer. so the woofer will get 700W. is it a good setup? cost- around $440 dollars installed and everuthing

Another thing, you don't know audiopipe. They do make very good subwoofers. Learn a bit about the subs before posing bad things about them.

ok to clear this up i have owned kicker cvx and now i own the new audiopipe txx and i hit way harder with the audiopipes txx than the kicker cvx i only hit like 142dbs with cvx and my audiopipes are hitting above 145dbs. to me audiopipe are awesome for the price. it is all on how your box is built mostly. just cuz it cost more does not mean it is louder that is for sure cuz for one audiopipe is rated higher than kicker and have better cones that can handle more. i putting around 2k to my 12"txx

yeah i know for the price you really can't beat them for the spl or even SQ there great. i run them in basic trunk and hit 145s + with just 2 12" with less than 2000 watts which is decent for only having $350 into my spl system all together.

well i am pushing 1600+ to my amp and there hitting 144dbs. to me audiopipe makes good amps and better to match the subs for resale value and just over all look like 1500 watt or 2k amp would be perfect. just look at rms and anything around 1600 is great just make sure it not off brand amp cuz alot of the time the voltage got really high to make the watts it says.

In what competition? I was sponsored by kicker for almost 4 years and i never got a sub from them because they can't take the abuse of an spl comp. Pretty embarrasing when your at the Dbdrags and you blow a voice coil or loose a dustcap and wreck your peak spl number because of crap equipment.
