  • I used to have this CD, sadly it was stolen out of my car...I came out just as the dude was grabbing things from my car, all I cared about was my CD's, I chased his ass although I was wearing almost nothing due to it being 4AM & he had a Glock & I had a Maglite, in 40 degree weather, in the rain...he got away...:(

  • GREAT GREAT GREAT SONG! completly underestimated song. what happened to this band???

  • @MrGoncaloM Jools Dante Al Thronton and Toby Jepson (ex Little Angels) reformed GUN for a couple of years from 2008. Gordon Mcneil replaced Al on drums for a while, then Toby left to persue other projects. The guys now have a new lineup of Jools, Dante (vocals), Derek Brown (bass) and Paul McManus on drums. They are going to working on new material with Chris Sheldon who produced the Swagger album. They have also re adopted the original GUN logo.

  • @jarhead572 Yes, I know...

  • remember seeing this on power hour at 2am after coming home drunk and turning the volume up forgetting about everyone else in the house.this was about 20 years ago when i was young but i still love it now, absolute class.

  • I played this on big Tannoy system in a Mosque in Glasgow when I was a teenager and I got my fucking ass kicked but it was worth it! The good old days man!

  • What a great band!!! It brings me back to my 18 years old. I was always listening to the Gallus album.

    Life to rock'n'roll!!!!

  • Great drums. I am so down with that beat.

  • I saw these guys in 1989 at Elgin townhall in Scotland, then the next year they supported Simple Minds at Wembley Stadium.

  • @pawnsacrifice1 I saw them in Bubbles nightclub in Elgin/ Newmills I think it was in 1989... also saw them In Aviemore that year....

  • @wordupgun I think we had a choice of seeing Gun or The River Detectives. Thankfully I was talked out of The River Detectives!

They supported SM with The Silencers & Texas

  • @wordupgun you might be right about the venue...it was 21 years ago :(

  • @pawnsacrifice1 aye, seems like yesterday though... :-) Think 'Bubbles' was part of a hotel...

  • seen them in Portugal opening for Rolling Stones and turn the audience wild. Nobody knew them.....but me!!!

  • THEY WERE BETTER DAYS

  • 5-a-side at the bella. Tam Whitelaw Much respect!

  • This song is good for a band that had just minor success in the US. They were huger in the UK. This song rocks!

  • Is this hair metal? According to All Music Guide Gun was more an alt-rock band similar to INXS & U2. This sounds like 80s hair metal but then again so did Drivin N Cryin (also a college rock fave.)

  • @bucky468 no, was described as dance rock when it came out....

  • @wordupgun What band would these guys bear the closest resemblance to - Glass Tiger (they're an 80s dance rock band from Canada if you're new to them)? I do like this song regardless.

  • this song just makes to remember the past :)

  • damn these guys rock

  • on tour now...

Not quite what I was looking for.

  • underkilltv for a great interview

  • good song

  • this is 90/100 - 'one reason' = 100/100 - don't say it's over' = 100/100 - 'watching the world go by' = 100/100

  • wow yes! my 6th form days! still sounds great!!!!

  • I remember buying this track on 12''...They were damn good, but they dropped off the radar completely after supporting The Stones...weird!

  • Whatever happened to these guys?!

the last time I heard them,I was sat in a park in Manchester getting off my head and they were supporting The Rolling Stones in the stadium close to the park...It was a FREE gig! I could'nt see the bands, but the sounds were all I needed at that moment in time...!

  • Brilliant track, it was the soundtrack to my adolescence, first heard it on the BBC Radio 1 Friday night rock show with Tommy Vance about 1989, couldn't believe that they were from Glasgow, exciting time for music in Scotland.

  • This song rocks! I have always loved it.

  • i Love this song it has strength, rythim and hope, long live to r&r!!!

  • i saw them at expo 92 seville,asowe!!!!

  • these guys rock!!!!

  • 12 inch version is epic

  • Totally underestimated band.

  • absolute rock!

  • @Jacksonguitarjoe, yes, absolutely. The fact they are unknown to so many is a crime. Gallus is a fantastic album. May we keep listening to this sound forever. Gun Rule !!

  • Top song.....

  • good tune, a lot of truth in those statements

  • Still class after all these years

  • Surely one of the best rock and roll bands to emerge from the Uk Their manager should have sold his soul to get them a Us tour with Bon Jovi at the the time and they would have been Massive,Two of the best lead guitarists from Scotland no doubt,I would have dealt with the ego's by remindeing them this chemistry only happens once in a lifetime so embrace it and protect it, up there with Thin Lizzy but more relevant.check out Watching the world go by on the album Gallas! classic.George rom Fife

  • ....slightly over the top, but they were certainly good. :0) Good song.

  • WHAT happened to Gun?? They were great!

  • quality ....wot a blast from the past

  • Magnífic grup, meravellosa cançó.

  • this song is a real hymn, their music was great, what lyrics!so many years and they still sound great. They were the best!

  • Life started there back in 1990.. thanks Gun.

  • @chaporosti they were singed in late 87 and this song Better Day's is 80's not 90's

  • @mikekaraoke Better days was released in July 1989... So just made it into the 80's...Most of their other songs were 90's and now 2000's...

  • love it, simple as!!

  • oh ya....

  • try playing CD in mediaplayer and use slow down function you'll learn it in no time.

  • One of the best British bands that came arund in the 80`s and 90`s alongside Little Angels. Funny thing that their new lead singer is Toby Jepson....

  • When this song first came out I thought it should have been the actual theme to "The Wonder Years"...but what do I know?

  • I saw these guys at a small club in Tampa Florida around 1990. I was blown away. I knew then they were destined for stardom. The guys were so nice and down to earth too when I met them. Mark was nothing but a true gentleman. I played a couple games of pool with the Gizzi brothers(they kicked me and my friends asses haha)Anyone know what Baby Stafford is up to these days? That boy was unreal live...

Good time won´t last forever :( I saw their latest live concerts in Lisbon. Great band

  • Eh, not a new guitarist. that is, indeed Mr Gizzi. Yes he used to have long hair, but, people get older, and things happen to their bodies, like losing their hair . . . . . . lol.

Remember, it's been a good few years since you all last saw him. But I see him every few days and I think he looks quite ditinguished . . . . . . . lol. Not a word Tinman!!
