So never got the credit they deserved, and so much better than some of the tripe that was around at the same time! One of the all-time best Scottish bands IMO!
I used to have this CD, sadly it was stolen out of my car...I came out just as the dude was grabbing things from my car, all I cared about was my CD's, I chased his ass although I was wearing almost nothing due to it being 4AM & he had a Glock & I had a Maglite, in 40 degree weather, in the rain...he got away...:(
@MrGoncaloM Jools Dante Al Thronton and Toby Jepson (ex Little Angels) reformed GUN for a couple of years from 2008. Gordon Mcneil replaced Al on drums for a while, then Toby left to persue other projects. The guys now have a new lineup of Jools, Dante (vocals), Derek Brown (bass) and Paul McManus on drums. They are going to working on new material with Chris Sheldon who produced the Swagger album. They have also re adopted the original GUN logo.

Is this hair metal? According to All Music Guide Gun was more an alt-rock band similar to INXS & U2. This sounds like 80s hair metal but then again so did Drivin N Cryin (also a college rock fave.)
@wordupgun What band would these guys bear the closest resemblance to - Glass Tiger (they're an 80s dance rock band from Canada if you're new to them)? I do like this song regardless.
the last time I heard them,I was sat in a park in Manchester getting off my head and they were supporting The Rolling Stones in the stadium close to the park...It was a FREE gig! I could'nt see the bands, but the sounds were all I needed at that moment in time...!
Brilliant track, it was the soundtrack to my adolescence, first heard it on the BBC Radio 1 Friday night rock show with Tommy Vance about 1989, couldn't believe that they were from Glasgow, exciting time for music in Scotland.
@Jacksonguitarjoe, yes, absolutely. The fact they are unknown to so many is a crime. Gallus is a fantastic album. May we keep listening to this sound forever. Gun Rule !!
