Mr Mckenzie, I am a student of Environmental Management here in Lima Peru.
Your video is greatly appreciated from this side of the world. We dont have a course book and only count with our professor's power point presentation which for the most part are complecated to understand.
The internet is my major source of information. Thank you so much for your time. Keep tup he good work!!
not being a whiner and with all due respect--sir, you are pronouncing CETERIS PARIBUS wrong?
it is pronounced with a K, (kaTEris)
and this is Cambridge....
meanwhile, the prices are determined by supply and demand in competitive markets--but what about the real world?
economics should not be confined to an assumed static condition i.e competitive markets, because such markets DO NOT exist (at least most of time) in the real world..
Other than that, you look great. I like your shirt. :)
Your explanation was so clear that I understood everything. You are a great Teacher. I wish to have a Professor like you, Richard Mckenzie. Thank you. :)
college students going on a spending spree, expecting to secure a job shortly after graduating?
nah, we know we're done for after our unemployment (graduation) ceremony :-p

Loved how you explained the distinction between the way economists define "demand" and the way the general public thinks of it.
