@jraboi01 - Knoebels reopened in 2 days. I was there on September 24, 2011 and all but 7 kiddie rides were open. They did a PHENOMENAL job cleaning the place up! See you in 2012.
This is pretty much what it's like to ride the Sklooosh, aside from coming off of it soaked to the core!! It's definitely the first ride you should take on a hot day...then you're not as roasty.
This ride is so awesome. People never come off of the ride unhappy becuz their wet, they always come off with smile and lafing because their havin a good time and they dont give a crap if their wet. I -3 knoebels
When You stand On The Bridge Of this Ride, They make you Hang on to the fence or leave, Because When The water Hits You, Its so Hard That you Wouldnnt be Able To stand,
the worst thing about the skloosh is AFTER you get hit by the wall of water... you get hit again right after the bridge with the water coming off the bridge xD
i went on this ride it was fun yet a little scary cuz it was my first time on a ride and the phoenix was my very first Roller Coaster ride and that was also a little scary yet fun but i think most people are scared or a little nervous there first time on a coaster
@TheStaticAge95 The phoenix was my first coaster too! I was so freaked out, haha. And I haven't been on since because I have a fear of roller coasters :D But I'm definitely going on this year!
@elvis8tweeter - I, too, go out of my seat on Phoenix, and I'll be 48 in January 2012. I gained 45# when I moved to central PA from the Philly area - was on a scale yesterday and was 266# (I'm 6'2"). I caught a lot of air time on the Phoenix when I was there on September 24, 2011, and loved what was voted the 2nd-best wooden coaster on Earth in the Golden Ticket Award competition for 2011.
I loved this ride too bad knobels is flooded

the best part is that after you get off skloosh and your wet everybody goes on the carpet ride right next to it to get dry
