Polaris is lucky on one count though - at least Marvel doesn't relentlessly murder her & resurrected the way they kept murdering Jean Grey & resurrecting her.
I like Iceman (He's my fav mutant) but I think she deserves to be with Havok, they were both kind meh at the time they were supposed to get married, I dont think they were ready for it.
Now that they seem to have patched up things in space, they'll probaly tie the knot when they eventually comeback.

Every time Polaris has to be in a story with Havok he drains the life from her character and she comes across like an incomplete character. Get her away from Havok and she shines brightly like she is now in Exiles. That's the best version of Polaris I've ever read and she has something in common with all other great strong Lorna runs where Alex is absent from the story.
You have a right to your opinion, I like their relationship because it's fucked up a lot of times. Yet they always find a way to work through it and unlike Jean and Scott, someone doesn't have to die all the time for that understanding to happen.
Sorry, but as a Polaris fan, I like her when she's not the pretty green accessory who is sometimes lucky enough to be involved in a story thanks to the fact that she's the girlfriend. She's been stuck in this role for 40 years. When he's not in stories where she appears, she actually has a personality, a philosophy on mutant rights, and she gets to interact with people other than her boyfriend or reacting to bad things that happen to him much like Jean in the cartoon screaming Scott's name.
Lorna is a very cute name. Sure your parents might have known of the name because they are comic book geeks... lol but all they wanted was for they daughter to have a nice name.
@nek0me0w My last name is Summers just like alex and scott last name so every nerd in high school would always ask me dumb questions about super powers and shit that I didnt even understand cause well......I plaid football and my son's name is Alex so, just a crazy coincidence
I totally agree with mistermassage. The should put Polaris as one of the main X-Men in the new cartoon coming out, Wolverine and the X-Men. I totally love Polaris.
They better bring Polaris into the next X-Men movie (rumored), I'd love to see her on the big screen!

My favorite story of Havok and Polaris is Hulk #150. They were also in a Marvel Team Up story, which continued with Thor in the next episode.
