  • I love the part later in the film when Emmet is playing the same song in the train yard with the hooker/girl and although it's not said, he is obviously missing Hattie. Very moving.

  • The pan to her face is such beautiful cinematography. He did the same with Mia Farrow in Hannah. Woody Allen is a genuis.

  • Stunning scene.....!!!!

  • what s the name of this piece? it s beautiful!

  • @cirirock "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles"

  • Beauty

  • One of my all-time favorite movies. I just saw it for like the tenth time, but this time it was on Logo or Bravo or one of them shite channels, friggin' commercials every two seconds. I guess not Logo, that's the gay channel, right? One of them channels anyway. Movies this good shouldn't be allowed to have commercial interruptions.

  • The second best player in the world in pure scent

  • Its Emmet Ray dude, not django

  • so beautiful

  • this is so magestic

  • wonderful Samantha Morton as Hattie...love it

  • I've watched this movie ten times in the last week not only because its such a great film but because I'm in love with Hattie! Jeeezus Christ!

  • hattie....so sweet !!

  • I see Emmet as Peter Pan and Hattie as both Wendy and Tinkerbell in this movie.

  • People!!! you Know they dont make movies only for Guitarplayers;

most of us didn't notice he was doing something wrong.

  • where can I download this as an audio file? I don't like the soundtrack version.

  • what a great freakin movie

  • Did Sean Penn really learn(or has he been for years)to play the guitar for this movie?

  • @gipcarp no he definitely didn't learn. if you look carefully, especially if you play this style of music or guitar at all, you'll see that his fingers move no where NEAR some of the chord progressions or scales. In essence, Penn is trying his best to ACT as though he's playing. It's actually kind of embarrassing for me to watch, but of course it's not what's important about the movie :P

  • @SeanPennisHOT

    --"Milk"....LOL

  • It's better, when he says something like, I'm not calling you fat or something, but you got curves, you know? It makes a guy feel like he's been somewhere.

It's hilarious an i can't find it here unfortunately.

  • DOH! damn Woody Allen, filling my head with underdog stories.

  • The guy who plays this is howard alden sean penn cant play this and emmet ray is a fictinal character

  • @bjornorico the caracter of emmet ray was inspired by ocar aleman check him out

  • i love the "i made a mistake part" this movie is great and Penn too.

What's better than lilying on your bed and play the guitar?

  • No actual Emmet Ray recordings on Youtube? Something more likeable in being the second best guitar player in the world than the first. But you can find Django Reinhardt on Youtube and not Emmet Ray.

  • @brelfan emmet didnt like to record.

  • Let's go to the dump and shoot rats.

  • is there any guitar tab for this song.let me know.

  • This movie is so inspiring! I hope you don't mind, I posted you my version of this. the arrangement is by Howard Alden ! He played on the soundtrack too...what a guy!

    Matt

  • Waste of a perfectly good guitar....

  • hate/love this movie

  • What's the name of this song?

  • "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles"

  • Woody Allen is, as you say, truly amazing.

  • Giacomo Puccini vs. Emmet Ray

A few minutes before this movie i saw Giacomo´s Turandot (in the "forbidden town")..

With this two very different parts of communication in music i fell in love.. what means, that it does not matter if there are 350 or 1 are speaking with you.

    You only have to understand.

  • What's the name of this song? :s

    Sum...

  • it's "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles", and the guitar performance was by Howard Alden, a true genius of the instrument. And he's a Youtuber!

Look for halden7 and tell him how much you enjoyed his playing!

  • hahahahah, "first time I had sex I was 7 years old" that part always cracks me up

  • @williestratton Thats exactly what I said yesterday. his casual delivery and how they just blow straight over it is great.

  • Woody Allen is amazing.

  • es lo q ella dijo

    thats what she said

    lol!

  • esta chida esta cancion se me hizo dificil consegirla buena pelicula

  • me enamore de esa cancion

  • Sean Penn at his best - Woody at his best - Django at his best!!!! wonderful film and great music... Dj

  • I wouldn't say Sean Penn at his best, nor Woody at his best, and it's not Django playing. It's a decent movie, but definitely not Woody's best.

  • this is so wonderful to me!! I am a huge fan of this type of music since I saw this movie-the soundtrack for this movie is great. also now a big Django Reinhardt fan now!

  • muy hermosa la musica de Emmett Ray,la primera vez que lo oi fue una sensacion no explicable

  • Favorite movie!
