Books are canon in their own separate universe that doesn't affect the primary movie-verse canon. It all depends on which universe you are using. Movie-only Fett gets stomped. EU-verse Fett doesn't even break a sweat and kills Worf.

I agree mostly. But I actually like the Fate of the Jedi series currently going. I really didn't think there would be anything worth reading from the EU since LotF series, but I've been pleasantly surprised really. But for me, it's starting to look up. I'm holding on to these last vestiges of hope. Oh, and I jedi really was one of my favorites, despite a couple errors.

Boba Fett has no morals except to devout himself fully to being a perfect hunter and to give his prey/opponets what respect and mercy he can afford to without comprimising the mission. He's like a nuetral-leaning-dark batman. Completely remade himself into the perfect weapon.

More often than not, the more impressive someone is in life, the more embarrassing their death will be.

think of Manfred Von Richthofen, more famously known as "The Red Baron", and arguably the greatest fighter pilot in history, was shot down by a machine gunner on the ground, not even a rookie pilot that got lucky, let alone an enemy Ace of similar renown in an epic and climactic dogfight.

To me Boba's "death" represents how even the best can't be prepared for everything.

no star wars canon doesn't work like that. Only the things that don't contradict what Lucas has said or is in the movies are canon. Even then they are only canon in Film + EU.

Lucas has stated several times Boba Fett is dead.

I think you also have a gross misunderstanding of cloning. Just because someone is a clone they don't know everything the original person does. In fact they might end up looking different. It just means they share the same basic DNA.

1st off did you even bother watching Episode2? They have Flash memory training.

ANYWAYS Jango would've trained Boba to fight like a good Mandalorian father.

Boba already knew how to pilot Slave-1, shoot it's weapons and regurlarly imitated Jango's fighting style.

2nd The EU is canon, GL used it to make Aayla Seklura, name Coruscant and explain Anakin's Scar.

Recently it got so bad that lucas officially stated that the EU is not cannon with the movies. Though I think that god awful new cartoon is.

personally I think the EU has been falling apart ever since the last couple books of NJO. Legacy of the Force was awful. Legacy comics were entertaining but bad for the unvierse. Kotor is going WAY downhill. Only thing i've found woth bothering with is the Bane books. In my opinion they should pretty much throw out everything but the Original Trilogy, X-Wing series, Thrawn trilogy, the Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy, and Kotor 1. That includes the prequels. they need a complete remake

True, but lasers are more figurative when used in dialogue. They are actually charged plasma rather than classic lasers per say, nonetheless each universe has things better than the other. Consider the UFP and Star Trek powers are generally new, a few hundred years compared to thousands of years worth of Star Wars technologies.
