  • Amazing!

  • Im so sorry that such a wonderful singer had to be put to rest...they are amazing wonderful pets and for all the time and energy that one puts into making them so they become as dear as family, nay they simply become family. My heart goes out to you...I'm sure he had a wonderful life, and you should be very proud. Thank you for leaving this up...I lost my little girl Roxie a few months back after she bled out from a damaged claw and I've been missing her something fierce....

  • He was marvelous! I'm sure his essence/spirit is happy that we still enjoy his life :) A very happy thing that he lived :) Blessed be...

  • I'm so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful individual.

I could be picky and say "well....he's flat on several of the runs and doesn't get all the notes" but this is pretty darned good for a Cockatiel! Better than most layman sopranos. :) well done to you both.

  • Hi Morton

Hendrix and Chrissy enjoyed this so much. Hendrix was sitting on my knee watching intently. Thanks for sharing. He looks an amazing friend :-)

  • I'm sorry about the death of this amazing bird.

  • ((Cockatiel fans check my channel))

    'Project Tiel'

    STARTING SOON

  • So cute! He's trying to sing one of my favourite parts of The Magic Flute. Love it!

  • naru; Grow up Moron, tell your mommie your diaper needs to be changed. LOL

  • a bird is not an animal? I think its time for you to stop watching cartoons and get a education, learn to spell moron.

  • Birds are very much animals. A bird's death can be just as saddening as a dog's death.

  • Lovely creatures, a pity that they are prone to illness.

  • I had 2 cockatiels. First gone at 6th August 2008, second 10th April 2009 ;(

Both lived for about 15 years...

  • I lost 3 cockatiels, one I had for 10 years, the other two were sick from the pet store and died within a week. Find a good breeder that can give you a healthy animal. I have now a male and female. They are very attached to me and I found a good vet for them. Get another bird so you won't feel depressed for a long time.

    I feel for you.

  • I'm so sorry for your loss. I know what you're going through. Had one cockatiel for 13 yrs and he died. The same day,i brought another one. I've still have him. For little over three years. I become to attach to them and parakeets.

  • I have a 'tiel (3 yrs old) that I adore, so I can imagine how you feel. Take comfort in the fact that The One who created us all, and gave us a great gift: the capacity to love, and to love His creatures, will not disappoint you in The End: you will see your beloved again someday (why would a being of love separate you forever?), and, until that time, Amadeus frolics and sings in that fabulous Paradise, awaiting his Best Friend: you.

  • Mine died this morning... :( He could do the 'te-tere-teee' from the A-team...

  • sorry for you loss! =(

  • what song is that from A-team? i dont know a song by them that has a "te-tere-teee"

  • So Sad for this magic bird

  • My cockatiel suffered the same death last September

  • so sorry

  • amazing little beauty. you are right to celebrate his life as he was remarkable bird. RIP Amadeus - you will not be forgotten sweet boy.

  • wow... I hear cockatiel singing (whistling) the andy griffin show, robin hood, addams family, but I haven't found a bird that can do Mozart. The bird was talented. I heard the bird died. You always have those memories... TC -

  • I'm sorry to hear about his passing. He was a very clever little tiel.

I had a rat called Amadeus and I have a female tiel called Mozart, so I like your taste in music and names (:

  • dang! such a wonderful bird

  • How did he learn that tune? Did you play it or whistle it yourself?

  • T . T The poor sweet birdy...He had a happy life.

  • Yay Amadeus! Your music will live forever!!

  • hes like

    "SON I NO MY STUFF!"

l0l Hes really cute :D Sorry he passed away.

  • very cool and talented!

    R.I.P Amadeus

  • I am sorry for your loss. Just a beautiful pet too. Thank you for sharing this vid.

  • I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is, we just lost one of our cats and we're so sad. Amadeus was so talented! We've had our cockatiel for seven years and unfortunately he still can't sing the Queen of the Night without going off into Mexican Hat Dance. But it's great to see this because I thought I had the only "Queen" singing cockatiel. I'll try and post him singing it. (I played the queen in college, so it was the first thing I tried to teach my bird!)

  • I'm sorry for your loss. He was a very beautiful, happy-looking bird.

  • He was a very talented bird! Too bad nothing exists for ever. His life must've been very rich if he sang about it so happily (and so accurately!)

  • He's so accurate!

  • He is beautiful and very talented! I had a cockatiel age 21 that died this psat September and I miss him too. He could sing The Andy Grifith theme song, immitate a wood cuck widow bird, sing pop goes the weasal, make a noise like a dolphin and chicken, and many more.

  • poor amadeus im so sorry her passed away my parrotlet dided of a sezure i miss him ALOT

  • It's actually quite easy to teach a bird songs or to talk. It just takes time. It also helps if the Cockatiel is a Male since they love to talk/sing. But yea, just take about 5-15 minutes playing with your cockatiel and maybe a couple of minutes whistling to it. Eventually it will start singing tunes and putting together whatever you have taught it or it has heard.

  • is it easy to teach a bird to do that?

  • sorry about your loss---

daleslockish, these type of birds are drawn to a few select songs and words and will pick and choose which ones they like. It is difficult to train cockatiels. They will find their favs..lol

  • what did you mean about the loss part?

  • I thought some one said he passed away? sorry

  • Powerful song.

  • He's a hard working little guy isn't he?

  • is it easy to teach a bird to do that?

  • aww hes soo cute. sorry that u lost him it mustve been really hard to lose such a talented bird...ROCK ON AMADEUS!

  • whoa...thats awesome i also have a cockatiel hes a boy named beacon and he hates his cage but is very loveable. i got him a couple of months ago and im not sure how to get him to sing more often and talk more often. He only sings when hes in the bottom of the cage. he hasnt gotten to the talking yet but does anybody have any advice on how i can get him to talk and sing more?

  • It's the Queen of the Night's aria "Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen" ("Hell's vengeance boileth in mine heart") from the opera Die Zauberflöte(the Magic Flute). :3

  • Thanks you for answering that question =)

  • What a beautiful bird, sorry for your loss. Just wanted to let you know that my cockatiel Sammy was listening to your bird singing, and he learned the song from your bird. I only played it to him a few times. He sounds almost like your bird, it's pretty cute. What Mozart song is that? Does anyone know?

  • so cute

  • What a talented and beautiful little guy! Bravo to him and cheers to you for teaching him. Very sorry for your loss of such a great little creature.

  • R.I.P </3 =o..

  • it took u a month to teach it but how did u do it>? did u just play the song over and over and over again>? i wouuld like to know if its possible please

  • love your bird

  • Cool! =]

  • cute .. i love cockatiels they are very smart!
