  • Where are you guys located? Would like to do some team training. Great job

  • we fucking killed osama bin laden!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The SAS are real quick just in a blink of an eye and the whole ship crew would be gone

  • I think clearing a ship would have to be one of the scariest jobs in the world...balls of fucking steel required.

  • Good stuff. I would love to engage in some this kind of training with actual dug in threats, using Airsoft of course. Good stuff and oh yeah don't you just love all the hate-tube comments from people that have no clue...."Couch Commandos" as I call them ;)

  • Nice training!

  • 2:16 great, great entry! congrats!

  • damn good job, you boys obviously put in a helluva lot of time training as a team

  • Good video i did something similar to this. Just remember slow is fast, fast is slow only move as fast as you can shoot.

  • nicely done

  • Damn, you guys move so smooth you make ladderwells look like normal steps and landings.

  • Gents, thumbs up on the movement! I am currently serving the USCG and this clip was shown and described as proper speed. Stay safe and God bless!

  • A+ on the speed. Would be interested to see live fire.

  • some nice fuckin training guys lance here in 29 palms 0311 much props

  • some nice fuckin training guys lance here in 29 palms 0311 much props

  • WTF!!!

  • nice job fellas

  • "iceman turn and go"

  • This isnt airsoft you dumbasses. Its my understanding that this was part of a resume for a former Marine with the help of other Marines.

  • good tactical speed smooth transitions noticed 3 man not entering room instead securing from door hatch while 4 picked up 6. is this a technique that was executed due to room size and restrictive terrain?

  • What a bunch of campers

  • very nice u faggits suck

  • lol

  • hey one of them has the same kind of gun modifications as my airsoft version

  • just throw a grnade and there dead ._. lol

  • Many ways to Harvest subjects,

good hustle, don't stop!!! move fast

  • And what are those messups? Are you an instructor on this? If you are a civilian you should just shut the fuck up.

  • dont send all of your men into one room just to figure out if its "clear". Guard your backs!

  • @paperqualitychannel

That's how you room clear... They have a four man team, Three go in and clear the forth will stay in the hall and watch the back and keeps doing that until the rest of the team moves on. When entering the room first man goes left second goes right, third goes center.

  • Very nice CQB Training.

  • Really? Running into an unsecured room yelling "clear"?

  • Good work, very professional, what is your background?

I am sick of reading comments so pardon me if was already answered.

  • no piont but still o.k

  • looks a bit like r6 xD

  • 3:54 no chek bh sters

  • WTF Thank master chief???

  • It's so cool to see the real deal you know... I've always saw this type of action only on TV or video games... Is awesome to watch how they work as a well synchronized force.

  • walking 2 men wide down a hallway and filling it up? Thats a big no no where i come from. they wouldnt even have to aim to wipe out the whole team coming down the hall way. some things were executed a little fast in my opinion, Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast. but u can tell that u guys have backgrounds, great job.

  • Comment removed

  • where is no.1 retard>>>

  • its up ur dads clit

  • This is Marine Recon, right?

  • Saying one SOF unit is better then the other is one of the stupidest things you can ever think of. All units including non SOF are mission specialized so they are the best at what they do. Otherwise there would be no point in having all these different units if they all did the same thing. They are trained to do what they are ment to do, since SEALs are trained differently it dosent make them better, its all about mission specs. Other then that great video man! Superb job! Loved it.

  • FatalFunnel showed superior muzzle discipline despite tight and quick maneuvers. A sure sign of quality training and experience. Please post another!

  • greywolf is retarded. As a Force Recon Marine I know what it takes. We are a lot more than a halfway in between point. Maybe in your video games SEALS are more elite but in reality you should stay quiet cause you don't know

  • Force is a joke now days. they dont even have the budget to send all the operators to BRC. and they still use jump school in Bragg wich is a joke. Force just isnt what it once was and MARSOC is still to new to know how well they are going to perform. BTW im not trying to start a argument, im just saying what i know. i use to be a Marine and im in the Army now, the SF pipeline here in the Army is much better.

  • tell me America isn't awesome! these dudes will f*&%k your shit up.

from one dog to another OORAH!

  • jede szene imma 2 mal: BORIN!

  • If you go slow, the bad dudes have more time to draw a bead on your head. If you haul ass and get your sidearm level, you can shoot him and have the element of surprise, or at least, in theory.

  • So would you rather he go slow or go upside down?

Come on dude, get your head out of your ass (video games).

  • are these USMC fleet counter terrorism members?

  • Good job on the dance moves. IBT huh? This was more like dance moves preplaned. Looks good on camera though, I will give you that. But why have a TM walk backwards on stairs? Most injuries do not occur from OpFor, they come from gucci moves like that one. You all work very well together and I hope you continue to work on it. Just some constructive critisim.

  • Most injuries occur from teams who don't train enough to avoid slip ups like that.

You may as well tell the boys at Fort Bragg that they what they do is just preplanned dance moves and only looks good on camera as well. It's just as, if not more "gucci looking" then the techniques displayed on this video.

  • You must account for the movement of the Ship due to swells in the water. Also take into account wet slippery surfaces. A proper response would have been, "This is how the boys at Fort Bragg do it, and as we all know there is more than one way to skin a cat." But concidering you had nothing better to say than to cut and paste information already posted then I would say that you have zero background in CQC, CQB, or tactical anything. I never said these guys were wrong. I just posed a question.

  • Would you have him walk up the stairs facing the wall? haha I see what you mean, but if you have to risk personal injury to gain a tactical advantage over the enemy then you do so.

  • amazing posture, where is that? and how do you get those places to play

  • Whoever was at the back let his guard down a couple of times when he didn't need to.

  • That was Bad@ss...5/5...high speed-low drag...OSU!!!(KARATE EXPRESSION)

  • omfg loser sas suck

  • nice! SAS are better. u dont care but tis true. SAS kick ASS!

  • preety gay

  • Ladies n gentleman this kind of training environment is designed for future US NAVY VBSS team members, it stands for Visit Boarding Search n Seizure, every ship on the fleet must have at least two teams prior any deployments...just FYI

  • Great job guys, a perfect example of team work!

  • Its not a friggin' business interview. If a soldier can do his job without getting himself, and everyone else killed, who gives a flying fuck if he can spell? It's combat operations training, not a friggin' marketing ploy It was probably a simple typo. Get your panties our of your ass.

  • Oh come on, that is funny!

  • cool !! i like the movements and cooperation of the team but the're kinda noisy saying clear the enemy can hear them well were they are and maybe try a bomb trap or something its cool though.

  • im sure they know what their doing

  • *sigh* people who don't read descriptions. They are using strong verbal commands because of a simulated helicopter insert. Helicopters are LOUD.

  • ahahaha

  • Excellent entry procedures and movement, now to help clear some of this up, it was a simulated helicopter insertion, in real life when a chopper lands everyone already knows your there, so by using verbal you increase efficiency all around. Normally in my comments I try to find criticisms but you've outdone yourselves, I can't find any real major flaws in that, you get the matdude3 seal of approval which has never before been given out to a video, i'm tough heh.

  • It is a great video...This team have a good tatical style..

What is it group?? is it some special forces group ??

  • who said marine force recon are better than SEALs lol i guess he doesnt know when force recon need a EVAC/MEDEVAC/rescue the SEALs come lol

  • You are a dumb shit!

  • lol and i guess you dont know when the seals screw up and Pararescue com LOL

  • everyone screws up mate....why do i get the feeling you think force recon are the best because you played COD 4....what about that discovery channel show where it was following a group of guys trying to get into the SEALs, two of them were currently force recon marines...one dropped out...doesnt really prove your point t me that they are better....because Force Recon arent even trained in half of the shit that SEALs are...force recon are half way between regular Marines and SEALs

  • hooha.Rangers lead the way

  • Man I wish I was part of this. This is a job well done. 5 Stars!

  • Nice verbal communication and movement there. You guys actually knew what you were doing unlike some of the other videos here on youtube.

  • what do you mean unlike some?

  • It's a prefab ship in a box. As soon as you un-dog a hatch on level one, you hear it on level three...no need for noise discipline. The Midway at Bremerton had more noise damping, but you could still hear teams trying to be quiet, a good bit down the P-Way.

Airsoft is mandated because of the close proximity of 2 parking lots/Squadron HQ. Just some comments to try and answer some of the critiques. FatalFunnel has the background, and I worked with him in Iraq.

    P

  • thats bad ass you guys are awesome

  • fuck all the haters, yall are on it. young guys like seeing an old force cat still keeping it real.

  • cool video man a lot of this is very helpfull on cqb thanks hope u post more videos like this to

  • good movement.

suggest practice with flash-bangs thrown to back ceiling before entry.

also, movement with gas-masks on important.

lastly, low-light visibility training with night vision goggles critical too.

    overall, good job.

    *thumbs-up*

  • Good vid, great movement! 5/5

  • Did you read the "about" info?

  • Come on... it's a training operation working on verbal comms!

  • @aznracerz STFU COD freak

  • praise be to.....jesus christ

  • You may want to use tactical comms so you do not have to yell out your next action/intention so the bogeys will not know what you're doing. You may also work on hand signals...

  • I think keeping yourself quite while entering a corridor could help you staying covered for a longer time?

  • AACH!! The host writes: Simulated heli. insert. Helicopters are loud! ;) so stealth doesn't really mean so much when they know youre coming.

Extremely nice vid! Thanx for showing! :)

  • Great video - Add a FAST System to your kit for insurance. It will increase your life expectancy by providing continuous sub 2 second reloads every time. Bad news for the bad guys. Check it out at stractech - Coming Spring 2008!

  • That is one great team...

  • Is this VBSS training?

  • very impressive how long have u been trainning cause this is very nicly done ever for a small part of the vid good tech and very smooth

  • ship in the box is cool

  • This is some good stuff i went through this training. The Ship in the Box looked exactly like this one.

  • anyone else besides FatalFunnel ever do any real boardings or maneuverings??? if so. would you say that every ship is the same??? or do you know every member on the team??? is he an FNG? in other words, can you work with everyone, or do you know how everyone works???? can any of you say your able to just hop on the team and make it look as good or better then they did?

  • I've done this mission in the past. No, every ship is not the same. You have to be flexible with your tactics to adapt to the actual layout once onboard. You'll know every team member well and probably spend a lot of time with them on/off the job, and the team will operate better.

Also, remember we're only seeing a tiny bit of what goes on. Video shows some entries/movements. Not much embarkation, use of force, room clearing, tactics, admin procedures, etc.

  • I know we would never let a FNG conduct an operation or entry until he has worked with everyone in the team. To easy for someone to get hurt of killed.

I do not care how good or what unit someone is from. Until we have worked with them then they do not stack!!!

  • Also, there is no definitive right or wrong in CQB. The environment will dictate your actions and you and your team may not always choose the right path. When this happens the team needs to roll off of the person in front of them and make the best adaptation they can. If 1 man goes left 2 man goes right. the 2 man does not have the time to think about the 1 mans choice he just needs to react to it.

  • A ladder-well is a nightmare scenario regardless of the situation. It is my belief that once you get eyes into the next compartment and it "appears" clear the team should get through the danger area as fast as possible in order to shorten the risk of exposure. Sometimes you have to give up the smaller threat to adapt to the greater threat. What are some of your thoughts?

  • Great video and great clearing techniques! Impressive.

We were always taught "slow is smooth - smooth is fast" in order to keep a stable shooting platform. Are you guys moving a little fast for recording purposes?

    Again, great video!

  • Thanks for the props, I would say that your speed can depend on the scenario and that is not an excuse. We are moving a little fast and some of it was to expedite the training value of the film as you pointed out but if you are dealing with a large vessel your mission may push you to secure aft steering and the bridge as quickly as possible in order to "own" the ship. I love the term "stable shooting platform".

  • lol..i think the problem with 230 was the guy holding point up the ladder had a doorway down the hall (i could be mistaken about this) and declared it as clear, the 2nd man up had his back to the 'clear' area, now,if i were to pop around the corner with an ak..my problem here is basically..he is holding point with only a pistol

  • Agreed, I would like to through out that a steep ladder-well is one hell of a choke point though. maneuvering in full gear with a long gun can prove difficult at times.

  • Why don't they use mirrors and shortened weapons .. cmon carrying around flag poles in a ship. those flash-bang doohickies, shields, flamethrowers and auto-shotguns.. where are those? teargas & masks. what if lights go out? or they run into a surprise-surprise barbwire corridor?

  • 2:30 was fine. The first guy up was watching their backs.

  • is this an airsoft movie?

  • Negative. Navy boarding team training.

  • Im pretty sure that this is a NAVY VBSS team(Visit Board Seach and Seizure, there is no reason for them to be quiet. When they board, they come over on a RHIB boat and the boat knows they arecoming. Some people have not F-ing idea...I do, I was on a VBSS team

  • Its none of those its an audition vid done the guy who posted it with various guys from different units check out FatalFunnel's page.

  • 2:30....two dead men right there.

  • I agree, the second guy look the wrong way

  • I don't see it? There is only one danger area to the left of the stairs. It is clear or it is not clear. As the one man called it clear the rest of the team focused on getting to the top of the ladder-well asap in order to set up the next movement and minimize exposure. Could you better explain, I don't see it. Thanks

  • Are you Navy specwar??

  • Great video!

  • nice.fast is slow, slow is quick. front sight focus, trigger squezze, disipline and control...all there.

  • This was a great video, only thing is some of you guys called "CLEAR" just as they got in to a room , but apart from that it was shit hot.

  • That's awesome!

  • Very well done you guys:) As for the people addressing the noise level, it's not a problem. It's not like your gonna sneak up on your enemy when they hear your every step, and all of the noise your equipement and guns make, and when your body hits or brushes against a wall. They are doing dynamic entries, not ninja stealth attacks.

  • People keep trying to bash this video, why doesnt anyone make a video response with them showing how it should be done?

  • Mostly because YouTube is full of psuedo elitist pricks that think they're cool for leaving insulting comments instead of constructive criticisim.

Personally I thought the video was sick. A few flaws here and there but it was pretty well done. The music was good too. =)

  • be better if some1 shoot

  • Excellent video, and thank you for your service (and continued service). Everyone needs to relax because there is no such thing as "THE WAY" to engage threats in a CQB environment. The video is a classic example of one, and an excellent one at that. Most people that criticize this vid are the elite unit of the Armchair Recon Commando Team 7. If not, then you should know better.

  • I am trying to figure out why anyone would go out of their way to slam something they clearly don't understand, but then again why do I even care what you think? You have know idea who I am or what I have done with my life. When you put up some better vids I will pull mine off, until then try understanding there are different styles of CQB that are dependent on the mission.

  • totally true.

Look at the USA for instance. Big country, many states and therefore many police departments. You go round looking at each of their CQB techniques, you'll see some variation no matter what, whether it be big or small.

  • Also, the line between right or wrong in CQB is very blurred as there are many ways to do things in CQB.

For instance, there are many ways to stack or make entry into a room.

You can't say "oh thats wrong" because you think its not going to work. The most reliable way to tell if a technique is wrong would be if you get shot, simple as that.

  • Hey navysealoperative, why dont you post a video showing us all you bad ass skills, show us how it should be done...

  • Maybe you should grow up and join the armed forces, you little wannabe. Go back to your gamer forums and let the adults talk without having to listen to your crying. Does your mommy know you are unsupervised on YouTube?

  • Thanks for the feedback 7VAVYSEALOPERTIVE!

  • Good stuff. I'm def no expert but my only quam might be the lack of signalling, i found you guys to be a little too loud. Short of that def impressive stuff.

  • my only comment is there were a couple of scenes were it looked like the muzzle of certain mens weapons swiped there team mates. remember muzzle awarness. other than that preety danm good

  • is there any shooting going on or is it just like a walk?

  • but, for airsoft, quite good. yeah, loud, but cool.

  • These guys are actually pretty good, as for slow and loud. They are practicing assaulting a ship. Do you think they could swim up to it and sneak up on it in full assault gear? Nope, a helicopter hovering on the deck may be an indication that some shits about to pop off. Slow is smooth smooth is fast, alot more angles to consider on a listing ship with multiple decks and levels.

  • they are slowed

  • jesus. slow AND loud. about as effective as a polish submarine.

  • Is this law enforcement or military doing thbis training?

  • Airsoft.

  • Also, newer ballistic helmets can stop small caliber rounds. You also have to think about how many bullets will be bouncing around inside a closed environment. A helmet is important, if you make entry and have to take down an unarmed drugged up 6-foot gorilla who is being non-compliant you may want some padding!

  • maybe ur right however I still prefer to go with out it,everyone has prefrences and thats ok.

  • The only reason I am not wearing a helmet is because parts of this video were used for a video resume for the Military Channel. I was auditioning to be a host for one of their shows.

  • The head is a large off button of the human body and you need to protect it. In close quarters you are very likely to take a hit in the brain-housing group. There are more dangers then just bullets. I would never work with anyone who was not taking every precaution to stay safe taking every precaution to be there to watch my back.

  • Yes, in CQB helmet is uncomfortable and probably won't help in you are shot in the head. In the open field there is a diffrent situation.

  • true the GROM acted as security for the SEALs, but I was just talkin about american units, I didn't mean that other coutries didn't train for it

  • Good movement. I would just rather be wearing helmets with a ballistic rating if I was going to have to wear a box on my head. YMMV. Stay Safe, cover you six or be carried by six. Welch

  • I don't really care for helmets, they don't really stop bullets sept from low powered or extreme distance, but it will protect from shrapnel, however there bulky, make it harder to see, my head always feels like I'm trying to move a bowling bowl when I'm moving it with one on, I look at it this way if I get shot in the head I won't know the difference anyway, however if differnt man rather wear one go ahead, but its not my thing

  • In Iraq in 2003 Polish GROM soldiers who "worked" ;) on the oil platform were covered by snipers just from the chooopers

  • yes its possible to do sniping duties on choppers SEALs are really the only ones in the military who train for it however SWAT trains for it too, its in the SEAL combat boarding manual

  • Cool video, they are really good :) One note: at 1:00 - never stand just in front of the door You are going to open because You never no what can be inside... Regards.

  • o and as far as a guy looking for snipers he'd probaly already be in position to cover the team as they came in but this is supposed to be a ship so theres really no point in a sniper however if this SEALs on a real op theyed probaly have their own sniper covering them from a hovering chopper

  • Is it even possible to do sniping duties on a helicopter? In games it is, but dont think it is as easy.

  • still cool but just for the record u know SEALs are trained to do that in just regular buildings too

  • Im guessing by the look of what theyr training on its meant to resemble a ship...look at the doors and the structure of the place...They may be SEALS (one of the guys in the credits is called Master chief...) may have no meaning though...Kool vid none the same

  • who are these guys,SEALS?

  • not bad my friends, very smooth. 1 don't like the "V" stack on the get go in the first hallway. you don't know if its "T" shaped yet. and when yall were pulling back down the stairs, you left that rear man hanging by himself, the dud with no helmet should of least stayed at the top of there stairs long enough for the "4" man to get there and pick up rear security. anyway semper fi

  • I think the instructor failed them on this exercise... they didnt restrain or even noticed the cameraman...

  • Juki009 ...WHAT?????????.....

  • hehehe ... I thought that all people encountered are considered suspects thus have to be restrained.

Seriously though... I am just noob, closest thing to being in the military or police is ROTC but what about the sorrounding buidlings? Shouldnt one of the dudes be looking out for snipers or something???

  • i hope for your sake and the sake of the men that you will command, you learn a bit about assult, support and security.

  • Hahaha ...tried to apply to the academy... didnt pass because I didnt have 20/20 vission.

Seriously though, they are on a open air rooftop, shoudnt one of the assault team be looking out for perimeter threats aside from the area they from and the area ahead?

  • what academy did u aply for????

  • All I can say that it is somewhere here Asia. Our military has a pretty low budget thats why they compensate by placing very stringent physical requirements on Academy applicants. Think 300 spartans...

Thinking of joining regular military when I graduate from college, by that time I would have saved enough for LASIK/PRK
