Maybe you can help me. I am playing this game but there’s a problem. In the minute 0:30 the guy in the counter say a different thing: "Look, I told ya we don't have any kitty hats today. Ya have to wait until Tuesday". Then he receives the ticket but he say something like "Mmm, another (something something) original. Thanks, I can not have enough of this", and he leaves without giving me anything.
is doug voiced by the same guy who does mr. demartino from daria?

He does actually but he hasn't got a very strong accent. It sounds as though it's been diluted and crossed with another accent.

It's Tuesday because the kids have their kitty hats on. The clue is given when you talk to the guy in the opposite booth if you try to place a bet.
That's what confused me about the puzzle, I didn't realize there was a claim booth on the opposite side of the room that I couldn't see.
