@Slackah Thank you :) Glad to hear you liked it. Basically, to get the "under the bed sheet" scene, we literally went, under the bed sheets and shot it! Simply had the actor crawl under the bed sheets with the camera in front of him.
James, great film once again :) Can I just ask a question? How did you do the scene from 3:25? The black room? How do you possibly shoot in a dark room? And how do you set it all up? :) Thanks again!
@MrJoshuaYoYo Thank you for your compliment- I'm glad you liked it. Basically it is the inside of the DOP's garage, we covered the walls in black sheets held up by duct tape and then lit just the actor using 3 350W lights but not the background making him stand out whilst the background remains black. I hope this helps, James :)
This was a much more interesting concept than your previous short film - closed doors. You've definitely matured in your directorial approach and the fractured editing and narrative of this film definitely gives it the edge. However, I didn't see any use of this tripod you borrowed? Almost every shot was shaky, which is a big turn-off for me personally and in my opinion, cheapens the film. However, one thing I must say is that the shot where his wife appears, and the switch in focus was genius.
brillant work...funny i thought it was going to end up him in a coma and trying to find his way out or something...one thing i would say is 4:34 when he is in the rain,i felt it didnt look that real, the way it was coming off him.maybe pour a little bit less and dont have it as focused on just him.But maybe im wrong and he was actually in rain and im just stupid!was brillant video tho.you deserve alot more subscribers..im sharing this on facebook and all
brilliant execution, great editing, beautifully shot, clear direction... believable performance. really sucked me in to the story, and delivered it at a great pace. Should all be proud, this will stand up well at festivals.
Hi James. Well done this looks great. Could you possibly do a ''making of" video?

Great stuff man! I am curious, how did you guys shoot the "under the bed sheet" scene? Was the actor standing up and brushing through the sheets?

I wrote a post-modernistic tragedy involving the greek god Orpheus. Very nice work, as always.
