  • @2zwaantjes -look at the last few frets- they are removed respectively not installed, because you can ´frail´or clawhammer better on those instruments.

    It´s only a little easier to play in those special playing styles-that´s my 2 cent but I guess I´m right :-)

  • @2zwaantjes - Old time frailing gets a mellower tone by going up the neck. You trade off the super high runs for getting mellow old school tone.
