Don't get rid of the air cooled motor.The 996 motors are blowing up as a result of their sleeved pistons. Just blog it on the internet and you will see a plethora of people pissed off and having to fork out thousands for engine replacements. Porsche is taking no responsibility. I've driven many and yes they drive beautifully but until Porsche addresses their engineering laziness and come clean, you are looking at a $15k
engine replacement even on pampered low mileage models.
