Speaking as a longtime Melvins fan (I've been listening to them since Gluey Porch Treatments) I don't think it was at all bad. A bit rough, but great energy and spirit. LOVE the cow costume. Hope you keep it up, keep playing the weird stuff!

The whole point of a cover my friend is to duplicate in your own style and taking the heavier route seemed to be the best option for us. I'm the BC Rich guy btw. I felt the solo in the original song had a lot more potential not saying that it wasn't good no no. I just wanted to play it in my own style. Thanks for the comment.

You guys are obviously good musicians AND have fucking great taste in music. I think considering your audience the reaction was good. Keep it up. Practice with a metronome/click track.

Yeah the tempo did vary quite a bit. Instead of a metronome though, we could just get a hell of allot better, which we will! Obviosly our taste in music is better than our ability to play it. Thanks for the comment!

That is cool! When I was your age Melvins didnt exist so we had to cover The Clash instead before deathmetal came around. Keep it up, but also try to find longer straps for the guitars soon. You look like nerds with the guitars like that. You are not playing funk-rock so make the guitars hang at same height as your knees instead. Like Nunchukka Superfly from Australia or something. Keep playing The Melvins and make your own stuff. You will want to thank me later.

When you mean off I take if you mean not sounding like the solo in the song what so ever? If thats the case obviously. As a band we wanted to pay tribute to the Melvins but in due course make it our own and add our own twist to it. I think the solo itself proves this point alot.
