@ladylucks101 SOOO true I was thinking the same thing I dont think they should kill any mouse mice or anything unless it died from something..........ANIMAL KILLER:( ( not u the owner of the video is)
@pejb83 it all depends some snakes will eat both it wont matter some will only eat frozen\thawed which is better for your snake because live do bite and can injure your animal. but some will only eat live. it all depends. like if you snake will not eat frozen\thawed at all switch to live. its always good to start with frozen\thawed to reduce risk to your snake.
@XxfrascionexX Seriously? You don't know how to watch it in HD? Were you born under a rock? How do you function on YouTube if you don't even know that?
Grab the mouse on it's shoulders and right in between it's neck and pull fast but not too hard. It breaks their spine and kills them quickly. But do this fast, mice are fast and mean little critters when they know you're gonna kill em.
@shaycarlFTw if your looking for a first time snake i'd strongly recommend a ball python there very docile and are great starter snakes. On the other hand if you are a little bit more experienced and have more than just a little knowledge on snakes then id go with the red tail. There very tame and are usually great companions (: good luck!
@shaycarlFTw i have both, but they both have to be handle different. Ball python is a great starter pet for anyone new to snakes. Tho, i find my baby red tail to be less aggressive at the same age.
@shaycarlFTw idk but im getting a red tail boa in a few days the girls will reach 10 if not 11 or 12 ft. they will live for a very long time i think like 15-30 years. 30 years is less likely though.
billflowers is a racist pig. everyone plz flag him, we had i disagreement and he replyed by repetitivly saying racist and ofensive things to me. thank you for your time.
@BDawg71192 You buy them that way, make your own CO2 chamber, or swing them around and strike their head against a hard object. I'm not joking about that last one either, lol.
Seems like the creator didn't answer your question:
The most sophisticated way and perhaps most humane is to gas them with carbon dioxide. I'm not sure whether he's scared of getting struck or something, but you should never put them in the microwave. They should be thawed in warm water. The temperature they will be at after that will be fine. There's a host of reasons why they shouldn't be microwaved and thinking that they should is one of the characteristic beginner mistakes (which really means you're ignorant).
do you kill the mice or do you use frozen thawed because i got a ball python like a month ago and she is not eating the frozen thawed yet not even showing intrest in them how can you get them used to eating dead mice????
@melrappmel He stated that he's feeding them pre killed mice that he bread.
But what I have found that works is whats called "braining" the mouse. Take a razor blade or thumb tack, and cut through the skull of the mouse, that will get the blood and juices flowing and should get your ball eating.
Though ball pythons are notorious for going months without eating anything, so don't start worrying about it too much until it shows signs of getting weak and underweight.
@fedexmoviesexspress1 I just want to say that owning a snake is the most amazing thing ever,
Feeding can be a pain sometimes, it all depends on what kind of snake you get. If you get a baby corn snake or something similar to that, it will only cost you roughly $1 a week to feed as they only eat pinky mice and you can find those fairly cheap at your local pet store.

The most sophisticated way and perhaps most humane is to gas them with carbon dioxide. Some people drown them or suffocate them in various ways. There's many ways people do it, and they're all fairly quick.
