I remember *HATING* this song and the new pastel-colored PE when it came out. Especially the line, "I don't want my mama on the street wearin' amor"--seriously?

But in retrospect, Muse-Sick was a great album. Had a lot of that live instrumentation sound well before The Roots did it. This is pretty much the last great PE album.

Yeah me too! But I bought the album a year or so after the fact and listened to it a lot--in the end I really liked the new PE sound. It was sort of the PE 'noize' with live instrumentation. There's a few lame tracks on it (whining about Columbus day?) but it's sold. One of the best rap albums with live instruments, I'd say. Chuck D's solo album had a similar feel. Man, I'm going to have to dig that one up.
