Vestal Goodman could sing the phone book and I'd be right there listening with bells on. She's one of those rare singers who makes you feel every word. She was truly the Gospel world's equivalent of a George Jones or Frank Sinatra.

Though God has placed His anointing on more recent groups (The Crabb Family, the Perry's, etc), The Goodmans and the Hinsons are treasures that are missed and will never be replaced.
