quiz - first of all, the left never called for an unconstitutional, undemocratic military coup. Secondly, simply reading the Constitution will not give you an understanding of Constitutional law or what is Constitutional; in our country you have to read the case law as well. As for quotes from the Founding Fathers, taking quotes from one Founder whose idea was rejected by the rest is not going to help you understand the Constitution. Those quotes aren't law either.

I always believed that our Founding Fathers established this government with a principle that it be such a small government, that it shouldn't be abolished, but they left provisions in the Constitution ALLOWING it to be abolished, should the need arise in the future. I am a registered libertarian, but the differences between leftwinger and a rightwinger are astronomical. Actually, there were more rebels than red coats during the revolutionary war. The redcoats were about 5,000 strong whereas the Continental Army from New England alone numbered 11,000 standing. On the infantry level some of the Americans did have superior musket rifles known as the longrifle(I.E. kentucky rifle) than the British brown bess muskets.
So, no, The British were better training and financed but everything else was stacked against them.
