  • Very, very good. Thank you for this 3 year something old video

  • That's a masterpiece.

  • kind of like controlled choas. Very interesting technique of syncing synths with drums. Refreshing to here something different like this.

  • I have great respect for someone who has an oscilloscope hanging out where they practice

  • hey man, random question but would you mind telling me what kind of oscilliscope that is.

great vid's btw. keep em comin

  • Good stuff!

  • Awesome! Be careful! Timberland may send henchmen to confiscate your gear!

    Just AWESOME!

  • Wow, Thats fucking Awesome!

Keep Up the Good shit. I would love to hear an E.P.

    Dane

  • at :43 that sounds really 70s. I like the way you have those drums micd.

Got some gangster tones in there too haha.

    Rhythmicons.

  • hell yeah! compression is good stuff

  • hehe u look like jon dore XD

  • Awesome stuff! So I'm guessing one could do similar things with software and a trigger to midi interface? Real analog synths are amazing but impractical for me.

  • It reminds me of Music Is Rotted One Note. I'd say you've got some interesting stuff going here; I'd pay for an EP.

  • another concept...

  • Its like freejazz... but better!

    Love this one!

    Grtz,

    ARD.

  • very nice!

  • I find this rather awesome.

  • Hehe sounds like a gangsta hip-hop beat!

  • hell yeah

it could use some vocal riddem!

  • whats a bass drum trigger, does the bass drum turn on that electronic kind of sound?

  • its a little piece of metal that vibrates next to a magnet and the signal is used for stuff.

yes it's turning on that electric kind of sound!

    woot

  • so good

  • nice.

how did you record the drums, which mics etc.?

  • i used an oktava condenser underneath the hihats and snare with the bass eq turned down.

the bass drum sound is part of the modular patch (triggered seperately on each hit) and the other sounds are modular tones (triggered from the bass drum>sequencer>envelope>oscillator>filter>amp patches) and the juno recorded into logic 5 through a yamaha mixer. it took a few passes to get the volume levels adjusted, but the whole thing is recorded in one pass as a stereo mix.

  • Like the drums part, it highlights well the rest (the type of sounds that takes me high ^^).

    Nice painting too.

  • This is the best one yet. It sounds like a "composition" insetad of just a "patch" ..

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • Wow!!!

  • Great!!!

  • love it

one of most interesting synth videos i come across

    like aphex twin unplugged

  • ha ha "unplugged"

    thank you

  • the bearded dude does it again.

man i want a fucking record of all this stuff. badly.

let us know when you make it

  • working on it...
