  • hard drive bounced around when he barely bumped it, wouldn't that be bad for the harddrives?

  • "So you can haf 5 fan cooling your hard drive, isn't that crazy?" - asian guy

"HOLY BALLS, THAT SHIT'S MOTHAFUCKING CRAZY!" - me

  • 3:08 ***

  • 3:10 opticle dry bacon

  • nice ideas dise it fit Full size COU Coolers. my case cannot use full size case and Extended ATX motherboards. its a nice case however I got is a pain in the ass. No freedom. everyhing fighting for space.

that case you got. did you sove the dust problems,. all these mesh how do you block out dust?

how wide is the case for heavy full size CPU Cooler? I got to go under 6 inches from the serface of the motherboard to the side door not good please respond thanks its a cool idea you got there

  • One question that I notice on this is... Why have 37 fans and a million air intake/exhaust places?

I praised it on an earlier comment, but this video says a whole lot more than that one did. Now I'm not sure I like it anymore....

  • @awn263 ?!

  • the case looks really badass but one feature that troubles me is the ''air mount'' system for the hard drives, wouldnt that cause alot of unnecessary vibrations, isnt that something you generally try to avoid?

  • "We call dis case LANboy because with fink this case is berry unique"

    What???

  • how much noise?

  • BAD BACKGROUND TALKING

  • great case, but water cooling on a lan computer? uhhhh???

  • pretty nice case, looks like it could handle so nice sized components, i love how its mostly mesh but down fall is you have to clean it more often. i have a cooler master HAF 932 and i have to blow it out and clean it every 2-3 weeks.

  • I got a crosshair IV extreme

    Dimension : 12" x 10.6"

Just wanna ask whats yhe biggest dimension u can slap on this monster..

Planing to buy a case this week..

    Thanks..

  • A few pointers for nay-sayers (this is helpful for most computers because all computers collect dust; at least with this one you can tell when it is time to clean it :p)

paraphrase from a quote on the Skeleton review

    keep this case up high

keep food and water away from it.

make sure your fans are positioned well

keep the area/room around it reasonably clean :)

also if someone has a dustproof computer i want to see it, please!!!

  • So if some crazy guy ....3:52

    :p

  • Sidewise...

  • All for the low price of what? $350.00.....what a bargain.....for something that cost 75 bucks to make....oh well.

Open frame is an excellent concept but, for practical use it's rather stupid, unless you like cleaning dust...ALLOT!

  • @Greenmarine6 the idea is to have all fans blowing into the case...the mesh frames are designed so that the air is blown out...which means you will never get dust build up.

  • @ZomgZomg007 please tell me you aren't serious, dust and air gets blown in ok, some of the dust gets blown out true I agree. However some of the dust also sticks. Over time that dust builds up. I apologize for being so abrasive but the design is really a lack of common sense. It's like saying that a house fan will never collect dust...I mean C'mon.

  • @Greenmarine6 don't jump the gun if you haven't really tried it. the design is that...blow out with max fans.

also dust builds up regardless and needs cleaning.

  • I just got this case and its brilliant just did a video on it too

  • Any PC with or without fans will build up dust inside. After huffing and puffing, and using a hairdryer, I found the absolute best trick was to simply take it outside, take off the panels, and hit the inside with a leaf blower. Wow, yeah, blows the heck away of using a hair dryer or canned air or shots of air with your mouth. Take case fans out, and hold the fan blades under a running faucet and rub them clean with fingers. Also spray out main heatsink. Let dry, or speed dry with hairdryer

  • You don't need to spend $170 U.S. for this case. Go to Salvation Army; buy a decent generic midtower case for $9. Take the side panels off and put them in your closet. If its ugly, take the front fascia off. All you need is the frame. The ONLY thing the panels are for is to keep mice at night out from chewing up IDE cables. If you have no mice, no problem. Reverse your CPU cooler fan, build a duct around it to shoot air outward, thereby vacuuming heat up at the base of the mobo.

  • People who believe case panels need to be on for proper cooling and funneling air... are quite frankly, full of SHIT. I live in a desert; you will cook a PC and hard drive with case panels on. Think about it, where would you be cooler, sitting out in the open next to a space heater, OR, in a closed concrete box with a space heater and two windows with a box fan in one of them. The correct answer: Open space. The heat radiates into space and can never build up.

  • totallty love this case... gonna get it soon

  • @veins101 collects more dust than pamela anderson pussy..

  • I haven't owned a plethora of cases, but I do have an Antec 900 and the airflow is superb. If I had time to throw myself into LANs, I'd certainly consider this.

  • Seriously have to love that guys accent =).

  • it's a nice looing unit, although i have an imac that literally is 100% silent

  • @alanbstard4 and your imac will never touch any pc that will be built into a case like this

  • @Element7744 This PC may have it's virtues, but it is a dust magnet, also, he mentioned to can have as many as 15 fans on it, plus water cooling.

It sounds like a loud, overheating kettle to me. One slip, and "bang" that's it, but my Imac, soon to be 16 gb and 2.93 i7 will keep plodding on

Your Achilles heal is still viruses

  • @alanbstard4 if you know anything about computers in general, everything with air flow will collect dust......and if you know anything about why Apple has far fewer viruses, is plain and simple....PC's consume a little more then 95% of the market, Macs are less then 5% if you can do the math....So when a person is constructing malicious software, which side of the market do you think would be more sensible to attack and try to attain some sort of financial/informational gain.....?

  • @Element7744 @Element7744 well, it is said that thanks to Vista, more people have come to Mac and the number continue to rise. Nothing like fully integrated at purchase

The type of dust I refer to re this super PC is not the external type I get on the mac. Internal dust and heat is non existent Water cooling systems, multiple fans, adding complexity, more things to go wrong, but it appears they are required as this thing will overheat

  • @alanbstard4 And you still get butt fucked by their prices :). Just sayin'.

  • @alanbstard4 and by the way....I've built my own computers for the last 6 years, work in a tech shop, the only people who get viruses now a days are the idiots who have absolutely no clue what they are doing....I've been virus free for four years.

  • @Element7744 many of us are idiots, millions of us, hence the need for virus protection not available on PCs

  • this case will have the worst cable management... it's gonna look like shit

  • @mvp7747 well see :)

  • Frexabirity

  • @Durkadurka1995

    no, Freakability :P

  • @Durkadurka1995 I lol'd... hard.

  • nice bright video, FFS

  • Please antec stopping making cases, what happened since the 1200!? Literally every case after the 1200 that has came out from antec has been absolute UGLY. Id go build a a pc box case out of wood with handles on top before i spend my money on this pos.

  • @getnhigh247 I thought this looked pretty rad o_0.

  • OKAY!!

  • haha, up to 15 chassis fans, omg ^^ imagine that, plus dualfan modules for ram(corsair or hyperx cooler) and gpu heatsink(arctic cooling turbo module, then dual cpu fan(noctua nh-d14, a pcu fan and in some cases, a small northbridge fan(on the baddest x58 boards), that's 23 fans :D

  • UGLY

  • Bet it was a headache and a half trying to design this.

Lot of respect for Antec giving consumers a case that allows such freedom with placing their components.

  • It this a full tower or a mid case?

  • nice accent. i'm from poland and i understood all : ) the case is very nice, there is nice airflow but 220$... (700 PLN) is too much for polish relities.

  • ASIANS RULE

  • Is it that bad that the HDD is slightly moving while it is mounted?

  • @123456iambelial

    That's why you get SSD...

  • @electrobussterr I do have SSD in RAID. Your reply is just stupid.

I would assume that you have never built a PC.

  • brilliant idea, but what a headache for dusty areas.

shame its onlya midi tower though, even with 7 sli slots im guessing STILL isnt big enough for big boards like the ud9

  • On the Antec website is describes this case has the ability to use up to 15 exhaust fans to create positive air flow causing the air to flow out through the panel preforations. That means blowing hot air and any dust out of the case. In theory this would prevent dust getting inside the case. Not sure if it really works with this case or not though. Its an interesting design.

  • Too much rice.

  • pretty flashy

  • Other than me not knowing about cable management or how much dust could potentially build up, this looks like a really sweet case. Something i'm considering, at least...

  • It's not the first modular case, look at Mountain Mods idiots.

  • That it.Anitec is gone mad...

  • what about cable management?

  • PALAGPAT NGA CASE!!!! GINAGO!!!

  • HDD vibration fail

  • Nice chassis with crazy fan slot LOL..

  • breezer case ftw :P

  • if u ask me i think this case sucks ass

  • Housing for 12 fans, but where the motherboard and at least 2 GTX 480 video card insert? The body should be extended to 100 mm, then go!

  • Why is this done in a penthouse like it's some kind of high powered drug deal?

  • another case failure! still cannot fit the 5970 and future high end cards

  • This case is not gonna be very good voor temps.

The whole point of having fans and solid sidepanels, is to get a certain airflow in the case.

With all the mesh in the panels, there will be alot of "false" air being pulled into the case. Witch will screw up the whole airflow in the case.

  • hahaha Put 2 PSU in there, 1 for the board and hard drives, the other just for the fans, and the other psu with system and fans, and you can put a smaller board in, and double up the fans!!! too bad it isnt like my cpu, my CPU as a air flow, if you feel my optical drives you can feel the suction. Its like a Turbine.

  • im not sure if he said this but is this case dust filtered, or do the fans have dust filter on?

  • @crudnup Lanboy Air will have dust filters on the fans, but we're not sure if this will help at all seeing as the fan is paneled with mesh. At least it will be easy to vacuum.

  • @Futurelooksdotcom it's a dust magnet and will overheat. We never see this thing actually in operations. Just a lot of chat about a computer sitting there presumably switched off or in sleep mode

Let's see the fucken thing work!

  • @crudnup it has no filters.... so they say make all the fans intake to push out dust LOL 15 fans sucking in air? no thanks

  • @utubeb14

Hey man, chicks dig 15 fans on your computer case. It'll get you laid. Just trust me on this one.

  • @crudnup if you use all your fans with positive case pressure you will not get dust in it. scince all of the air will be leaving out of the mesh sides

  • @crudnup I ma haevy wondering about htat my self. I.E a big dust collector. I will ask Antec on that. I hope to give them a cal lasd ask my questions on that.

  • dust filters?

  • Ree Rocate It

  • harddrive bay is epik

  • lol soccer button wtf

  • he failed to mentioned:oh this case is also not dust free lol

  • Can I mount radiator inside that case, How big max?

  • i think this is a no for me

  • this looks like a very utilitarian..but if you dont mind how it looks i guess its an ok case..but if it were me..i think id go with the new corsair 600t

  • Wow, i'm in love!

  • crappy case

  • this has become abit crazy now, people seem to use computers for Games these days and yes it's a expensive thing too, i don't see the point Paying out 2000 pounds to play a Game i really don't see the point, some of the cases cost of much has a console really crazy people these days everyone meant crazy Buying 3000 pounds systems too play Crysis WTF some people fucking crazy

  • Is this case going to even be in production? Will it be purchaseable within this year? I would really like one for easy transport and functionality.

  • i does not want!

  • very frexibo.... okay...

  • I find it rather ironic that, although this case is intended for air cooling, it could also work quite well as a water cooling case. Think about it, you can fit two 2x120mm radiators on the side panel, one 2x120 rad up top, and up to two 3x120mm radiators where the drive bays are (Provided you're willing to go with a USB optical drive and SSDs or a more creative hard drive mount.)

Also, the springy hard drive mounts just conjure up scary images of Shaken Hard Drive Syndrome...

  • ugly lol

  • interesting looking case its not bad

  • The good thing about this case is you don't need to have all the fans cranked up to keep all your hardware cool. Low rpm fans blowing air at all the hardware will be more than adequate. Dust won't be a problem if you clean the surrounding environment once a week, that includes vaccuming and wiping dust off all of the surfaces but you'll still need to blow it out every few weeks because you can never defeat dust, even with dust filters.

  • sexy case, they just shat all over the dust freaks lmao. "is-st hat cwazy?". "thats crazy..?". but serriously, genious case, just need to put filters on the components like cpu heatsink instead of the case itself.

  • I personally think this case is wonderful. I think a lot of companys don't really ever give you the option to choose, except for a select few. This is perfect I think everycase should give the enthusiast the room to do whatever he wants, thats what I always look for funtionality and practicality. Dust Covers are 4 dollars, I hate when people cry about that and say it ruined the case. This is the ultimate air cooling desifn which I am big on, I plan on buying one, all i can say is watch out HAF X

  • I prefer Antec Twelve Hundred !!

  • hear hear!!!

    just got one....

  • @ts2101 So how many different things can you adjust on the case? not the total number of possibilities, but just the number of things that can be changed? more than 25?

  • @berin99 no... im talking about the twelve hundred case...... as a reply to maquinista...

  • @berin99 From looking at it you can move the opticals in 3 different positions, the hard drives in 3 different positions and you can move the PSU to the top or bottom and move the motherboard top or bottom, depending on your PSU location preference. You can also move the front 2 fans up or down depending on where you place your hard drives and opticals in the bays. so that would be 10 different options. You can then install a total of 15 fans in the case.

  • I'm will be definitely be seeing dusts in that case...

  • Antec 1202

    Same Design as 1200

    10 Expansion Slots

    Bigger Tray for Bigger Motherboards

140mm x 25mm cooling fans for front and back

just a bigger case in general (also better modding capabilties)

  • they need to remake the antec 1200 so it can have a bigger motherboard tray for bigger boards,

the case needs to be bigger in general

and it needs 10 expansion slots

with 140MM x 25MM fans in the front and back.

different material on top for easy liquid cooling modding

    Antec 1202 BAM.

  • Dust much>? ROFL, dust magnet woo how awesome

  • Why cant they just get a 12yr white kid to describe this case.. Fcuk I would understand the kid better then this guy... Plus the case sucks, looks like shyt....

  • someone pls tell me if the antec 1200 is still a good case?

  • IT'S FUCKING EPIC!!!!!

  • woohooooo! ill get 1200 instead.

  • Why does always antec do their stuff in hotel rooms? :D

  • dust magnet....

  • Install dustfilters dusthead...

  • the 'no chance to survive any water' case =)

  • This case is amazing. The design is unlike anything that I have ever seen before. If this releases, I will definitely purchase this.

  • okay?

  • when is this suppose to come out?

  • Man if you take that to a lan party everything will be taken out of it before you can get your geek on LOL!

  • This case will be comes the rivalry of Thermaltake Level 10.

  • YUCK!!

  • SilverStone pwns u Antec n00bs.

  • POINTLESSSSSSSS expensive they all think Gamers are rich

  • 21 OKs in 6 minutes. that's not too bad, ok?

    ok.. this case looks ok..

    ok?

  • omg...if a person is crazy enough to fill all the fan spaces with fans this case is gonna sound like a friggin jet engine...

  • @wildboyz322 I have a HAF 932 with 13 fans installed in it plus a dominator ram fan and two 4890's running at 100% speed and the sound isn't that bad.

  • yeah but they're not all case fans tho. all the fans on this antec lanboy case are all case fans. and you have both of your graphics card fans running on full speed?? my one 4870 on full speed is already unbearable...how far away are you from your computer?

  • They are all case fans. I have 4 120 red antecs on the side, 3 on the top, a h50 mounted on the back with two 120 antecs on it in push pull, 230 mm in the front, 120 blue fan on the bottom in front of psu, antec 900 air duct in bottom three 5.25 drive bays with two blue antec fans installed in it from my old 900 antec. 13 fans like I said plus a dominator fan and my two video cards. Awesome air cooling for my 965 amd 140 watt processor at 3.8 ghz.

  • trure antec fanboy lol, antec for a rad = NO

  • @traingp7 that means youre deaf

  • @traingp7 sounds like it's going to take off, i mean 13 fans!?

  • ok?

  • and in full confic it sounds like a turbine :D

  • 15 fans. Shit and I thought my HAF 932 with 13 fans installed in it was FUCKING CRAZY.

  • i smell possibilities .

  • ok ok ok

  • Have power contacts on the side panel for the fans so there are no wires connecting and this is the best case ever.

  • This guy is straight up asian :)

  • I Love it I just hope they make this case A full tower as well as mid tower and put fan filters all over the case then this would be the best ever

  • this look s cool

  • FREXIBRIRITY

  • HAHA epic

  • @corrosivity Antec Lanboy Air: its got frexibririty. Believe it.

  • @corrosivity It's also mogerized!

(I thought he said motorized at first)

  • @PocketDrummer Ahh! didnt notice that one, good call.

  • @corrosivity lets be honest, poeple that are even 10% good at the english language are better than people that cant speak any of their lnguage. kudos to the guy that can understand what we say yet can also have the ability to talk mostly and quite clearly in the english language. or infact in any other language apart from their own.

  • @Mathewmartialart I agree, In no way am I saying his ability to speak english represents how smart he is or isn't, its a mild poke at a stereo type. I'd rather have a lengthy conversation with someone who is extremely intelligent and speaks little english than someone that slaughters the language with slang and stupidity.

  • @corrosivity yes preeze

  • i like this ok...ok...ok....ok....ok

  • That is a lot of fans to cram into a mid tower design. Holy crap!!

  • You can use as many or as few as you want. They were just there to show you the possibilities.

  • @graffix3001 MOOOAAR FANS

    :D
